Hi everyone - I'm new to this!

Postby maree48 » Mon Oct 08, 2007 11:29 pm

I have a year and a bit before I'm 50 and I want to be back to my thin self by then. My weight has gradually crept up over the past 12 or so years and it's not good. I need to lose about 18 kgs - my God that sounds impossible. When I was in my 20's it was easy to lose weight - now it just doesn't happen. Anyway I'm working on it. Hope I find lots of support here and I will do likewise.

:) Hey Maree, I,m new here myself so welcome, I,m giving 50 a big hug in November the 11th, I know the feeling of the weight just creeping up on you. Like I said I,m new here also but so far I have been made feel very welcome and with the support and encouragement you,ll get along the way I know you can do it 18kgs is about what I need to lose and yes it does sound alot but there are people who have lost 50kgs and more so that is inspiring enough to know it can be done goodluck on your journey.

Take care....Juls
