4 day challenge

Postby SarahC » Tue Dec 04, 2007 12:17 pm

For the next 4 days...

1. I am not going to weigh myself, at all, not till Saturday.

2. I am only going to eat what's on my plan... no snacking, picking, binging, sneaking in little extras, nothing! That being said, I will make sure there's enough food on my plan so I don't starve! I will post the said plan in the food diary section each day AND I WILL NOT EDIT IT!!!!

Surely it cannot be that hard

Thanks! :D

Day one down... only minor discretions with the eating plan (but I did soooo much excercise, that's my excuse there lol). And the scales are still banished.

Let's see how day two goes :)

Thanks guys!! :D

BAD news to report I'm afraid... about 1am this morning had a run-in with my stash of frozen home-made (by my mum) quiche. I had TWO pieces (would have had more, but there was only two pieces left  ) PLUS a rather large piece of tofu. That's made a nice 3000kJ dent in my budget for today :(

Still not weighed myself, probably just as well!!!

Determined to make up for it today. I'll sleep well tonight after all the excercise I'm planning

I've already done 55 mins cardio this morning
I'll *hopefully* be walking for 30 mins at lunchtime (please let it not be too hot!!)
And another two 20 min sessions tonight, before I can FINALLY have a shower hahahaha :)

Great stuff! At least your minor setback was with healthy food and not chips or icecream. Think of all the extra protein you've got!

I really admire that you're balancing out the accidental extra food with exercise. So many people would beat themselves up over a slight slip-up and get depressed. Your solution is much more practical!

So true. Don't beat yourself up Sarah. We all have slip ups

Maybe add some short runs into your walk to try and get the heart rate up a little higher so you can burn a little more?

Thanks guys. I'm not too sure if it was a "minor" slip up, maybe somewhere between "moderate" and "major". I'm stuck for what to do as this just keeps happening :(

34 degrees outside. I still went for my walk (no running, I'm in my work clothes and no time for a shower unfortunately)... and got covered in sweat. I'm drenched at the moment it's so gross!! That'll teach me

Never mind about the slip up Sarah, I tend to do the same thing at night when I am on my own and the kids are asleep. Glad to see that you stayed off the scales though - it is really tempting to step on them when you have had a slip up like that, just to check what the damage was. Keep your chin up.
