OK its not the diet... it's the exercise... been slack lately so want to try to get back on track..

Therefore to make myself accountable I'm starting this thread..

Want to get back to doing:

200 situps a day *min*

75 push ups a day *min*

arm weights when 'relaxing' as much as I have done previously..

Walk the dog for at least two sessions a day *unless absolutely p!ssing with rain*

Run about 2/3 kilometeres a day at least five days a week

Report in here at least every Monday to confirm I have completed these tasks... giving myself a score out of seven

This mornings weight 84.3 Kgs
Ten week target 75 Kgs by Saturday April 19th... aka Lauren's Big Day :wink:

well first day was successfully completed.. been raining this morning but just about to take not so fat Jack out for his walk :wink:

OK am going to update this on a Saturday because the goal date is nine weeks exactly today...

Have 8.5 Kilos to lose with nine weeks to goal...

Awarded my self 4.5 out of seven for week one... am being harsh on myself because I didn't start until Monday morning with my new exercise regime but nonetheless I'm not giving myself anything for last Sat and Sun and even though I have more than put in this week I'm taking half a point off because it had been raining one day and I didn't take the dog out despite earlier seeing that it was all ok and decided to put the session off till later (which didn't eventuate)... anyway 4.5/7 will give me something to aim at :wink:

Decided to join a gym also... have decided against this in the past as I feel its something i won't keep up afterwards. Rather fortunately theres this gym not that far from where I live and in fact it's down the end of this path that I do a bit of running on so yesterday I went in and they've got a 3 month special, $130 for 13 weeks... looked around, it seemed to have everything you need and was fairly quiet so have decided to take it up. they have an intro session too that costs $35 where they'll give you a fitness assessment and offer you advice on a personal program... any advice here and is that price ok? Seems reasonable to me :roll:

Anyway I'll book up either the w/e or Monday and make it happen... determined to get as close to 75 Kg on our goal date as possible...

didn't put todays weight down... was 83.5 Kgs this morning... thats 8.5 Kg to my goal of 75 Kgs..

I official weigh myself on a Thursday as part of my long time weight loss but this challenge I'm going to weigh in on a Saturday as that coincides with the actual goal date..

I only just saw this page.

I have absolute belief that you will hit your goal for the 19th of April. You are doing everything in your power to make sure of it!

Hi Lauren... am sneaky like that... been slightly injured last few days but will be going down the gym today... have still be doing my exercises though... just dint want to go down there till l felt 100%...

Yeah, hopefully I'm in the 70's now. Haven't weighed myself in a few days. Too scared!!! :roll:

So this week I finally made it to the gym... detailed that in my personal thread...

Weighed in this morning at 82.9 Kgs... leaving me just under 8 Kilos to lose in eaight weeks (today) on this challenge.

Awarded myself 6/7 for my exercising this week... can't really fault anything I did but want something to aim for so I'm taking off 1/2 a point for being slack on one day even though I completed everything in the end and also 1/2 a points for stopping and taking a phone call while jogging...

Wk 1... 4.5/7
Wk 2... 6/7

That's about it for this week... my training program at the gym starts properly from early next week when I will be there Monday, Wednesday and Friday doing the set program and want to go at least twice other than that to do some cardio work...

As well I'm going to be doing as much of my pre existing exercise as I can... see if alll that will be fat busting? :mrgreen:

just want to record that l was bloody knackered after the gym today over 600 calories expended in an hour.. AND did some weight work..
