Mandie's Pledge for Today!

Postby Mandie » Wed Oct 04, 2006 9:19 am

Okay.

After a long absence due to extreme business and then fear (I've lost so much fitness!) I'm biting the bullet and going BACK TO THE GYM.

I'm going to try to make the 5.30pm class, I'll pack my stuff now and put it in the car so I can go straight there when I've finished uni.

Gotta get back into this weight loss caper...

DID IT!!

Nearly didn't go (kept coming up with excuses) but in the end bit the bullet and went to my class.

It's called Body Attack and it's the toughest cardio class I have EVER done - the class is full of fit girls and I hang out at the back puffing hard with my red face! But it's so worth it, you feel so high afterwards, knowing you've burned all those calories!

I couldn't keep up the high intensity all the way, but I didn't have any extra breaks - just kept jogging on the spot or something when I just couldn't do any more squat jumps!

BUT I know it will get easier, as I remember to go every week!

Good on you Mandie...Often walking in the door is harder than the actual class..and you are right that it will get easier each time you do it.

Ooh I've never done body attack that does sound good.

I find on the days that I say to myself I don’t want to do any exercise or I don’t feel like it today is the day I MAKE SURE that I go. Then I figure if I can make it on the days I don’t want to it is dead easy on the days I do. Not sure if that makes any sense but this happens every time it is TTOM.
