I'm going to try out one of my new iTrainer workouts in the morning and see how I go!

I'm pre-listening to it now so I know what I'm in for!

...hoo boy.

On second thoughts, it's mostly running.. which is good because its a great calorie burner, but bad because:
a) I generally don't run, so I need to build up to this
b) I don't have any decent running shoes and I don't want to injure myself

So instead, I'm going to hang onto these mp3s for when I am a bit fitter and more used to running. If someone out there who does run gives it a go, can you let me know what you think of the program? Ta..

My new pledge for tomorrow is to hit the gym in the morning, and do 10 minutes warmup on the exercise bike, stretching, then 30 minutes on the X trainer level 8, then some abs and more stretching, then come home and start my full day of studying!

Ooh nice work out, hope you enjoy it!

Haven't tried any of those itrainer thingies been thinking about it though. I do tend to push myself anyway.

well, one of the reasons I didn't do the iTrainer workout was because I figured my fitness wasn't up to scratch just yet.. so they are on the backburner for a little while.. my goal is to get fit enough over my holiday (we will be doing heaps of trekking in Northern Thailand and country Vietnam, and heaps and heaps and heaps of walking everywhere as we won't have a car) to try one when I get back!

As for the backup plan - went to the gym, completed my workout, and feel on top of the world!

The most I've ever done on the cross trainer was 20 minutes before, I figured since I wasn't doing weights today (did em yesterday) I could shoot for 30 minutes.. and I DID IT with no breaks and I DIDN'T DIE!
