Muffin!

Postby Mandie » Fri Nov 17, 2006 12:46 pm

My mother has kindly bought me a choc-chip muffin to help with my exam study and left it out for me today.

My pledge for the day is to NOT EAT IT, and give it to Dad when he comes home.

It's looking at me... :?

Or put it in the freezer for another day but I think giving it to your Dad is nice.

Okay, I STILL haven't eaten the muffin, which is good.

I did, however, eat a tim tam.

Hey, its less calories than the muffin right?

*sigh*

am still avoiding it

mum brought home 3 blueberry muffins from work too

1700kj in each one!!

dad doesn't want all of them

I feel guilty not eating them

mum can't eat them - she's diabetic (and actually, I think she tries to live out her sugar cravings through me... she always buys me naughty things!)

I'm thinking of taking one muffin to the gym with me tomorrow and chucking it in the bin

now that will take willpower

gonna keep remembering how many calories are in it!

will let you all know how i go!

Tims tams have 95 Calories each Mandie.

Jewels I will post some healthy muffin recipes for you over the next few days!!

Stay strong mate you do not need those muffins...Freeze them and give them to friends when they come over for coffee!! Or I think it is Kim that said she takes "unwanted" food to work and puts them in the tea room. Just what ever you do DO NOT EAT THEM!! Maybe explain to your mum very gently that you appreciate her kindness, but could she buy you something low fat/kj instead maybe using her diabetes as an example....fat and sugar hits no good for diabetics, same as for someone losing weight?? Does that make sense? (probably not as it 4.10am in the morning here!!!)

DON'T EAT THOSE MUFFINS!!!

I actually made it all the way until today without a muffin!

Managed to NOT have one of those.. didn't have any any other time...

and today I was at work.. it was 2pm and I hadn't had a break (started at 9am) and one of the girls brought me a blueberry muffin...

*sigh*

I suppose once every few weeks is okay?
