Chocolate-free Monday

Postby SarahC » Fri Nov 24, 2006 1:55 pm

I have got chocolate in my desk drawer here at work, and I can't seem to stop eating it  I know that if I eat too much I will feel sick, and guilty, but I do it anyway!

So, on Monday, I will not eat any at all.

Now I can't give it away, because it is sugar-free, so it will be like trying to give poison away! And I can't put it in my car (that's my other usual strategy) because it will melt. I refuse to throw it out too because it is expensive. So, I will just have to be strong...

I will remember how ill I feel today and that will help

Right, got this one in the bag. Chocolate is now in the fridge, inside a thick plastic post bag, wrapped in sticky tape. No way will this pledge be broken now

Well done Sarah, sealing the choccy away like that.

I have a similar policy only it's around the other way. I only get to eat chocolate one day per week, the rest of the time any choccy has to sit in the pantry and suffer in silence.

Woohoo - not only did I make it through Monday without any chocolate, but yesterday too. Go me! I'm now going to extend this pledge till the end of the week... and include chocolate protein bars in it as well (after my big out on them on the weekend!) :)

he he, you could always put it somewhere public with a note saying "Sarah's chocolate, don't touch" and I guarantee everyone will sneak 'just a bit' - then you can watch the funny faces they pull.

I'm evil I know
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
