My first pledge !

Okay so this is also my weekly pledge not just daily but I'm Starting tomorrow.

I WILL walk down the stairs & not take the lift in the car park. It's only 5 flights of stairs down & only 5 back up. I will do that every day this week starting tomorrow.

The stairs are my friend, the lift is my enemy & I can complain all I like just so long as I do it. No one but me will hear the huffing & puffing when I sit in my car so it doesn't matter!!

Good for you! You can do this and you will make yourself proud at the end of this week. I will make my own first pledge in return. I will get up early this week and I will exercise for half an hour every day.

Woo! I like your pledge! You can do it!! Even just half an hour can make all the difference! Now to brave the steps this morning... It will help warm me up given that it's 6 degree's outside!!

How'd you go with your pledge??

I took the stairs this morning & felt dizzy going round & round in circles. Did it on the way back up to the car tonight & boy was I huffing & puffing! After my 5.6k walk yesterday my calves were feeling it!! I also purposely parked a few levels higher then normal too!

Day 2 tomorrow!

I did it :). And it wasn't so bad at all. I bought a ballet workout DVD, so it's mainly stretching and muscle building. There is a cardio part, too, but if I jump on my wooden floor at 8 in the morning, my flat mates will not be very happy ;). I'll save that one for the weekends or something.

I'm glad your first day was successful too :).

Hi Nancy :). Great that you're joining our challenge thing! How are you holding up so far? I hope it's working out (pun intended ;) ). Same for you, of course Tegan. Still taking the stairs every day? Have you died of it yet? I hope it's going well.

For me, I've been doing the morning exercise thing diligently and I'm very happy about that. Only three more days to go. Maybe I'll even stretch this pledge.
