I think that it was great that you weighed yourself everyday while you were sliding. Many would have preferred to fool themselves by not looking at the damage. That took character and courage! I image that practice alone would have stayed your hand a bit and saved you a few more kilos. 8)

So let's get back to under 90's and make THAT the new line of defence okay? :)

As I say Kim, I will revisit this.. The way it all unfolded was strange and it some ways disturbing, it was an experience like no other I've ever encountered in my weight loss journey for sure..

But John at least it wasn't the same old - same old story this time!
This could be the break through experience that makes it all come together for you. 8)
I can feel that this experience has shaken you harder than other times but it could be the best thing in the end... :)

I'm keen to hear all about it when you're ready, JP. But for now, one foot in front of the other and look after yourself :)

Yeah I look forward to telling the tale but I will be a lot more comfortable about it if I can talk about it having made a dent of sorts on my lost ground, bear with me..

As I said, whenever you're ready :) you have to be in the right frame of mind too, so don't sweat it ;)

Why so glum JP??? I hope you're not beating yourself up because you had a small setback??? I mean really, considering that you've been absent for weeks, the damage is nowhere near as bad as you might think. Be kind, and learn to forgive yourself for your "sins" we all have our moments of lapse; it's proof that we're human. I know you'll overcome this, and once you're back into it, will blow away all those regained grams!!! :D

The gym wasn't too bad, little sore from the time off but tbh have felt pressure on my shins from walking which I can't say I'd noticed in the past but just walking through the (slight) pain barrier at the moment..

In our weakness...we are made strong.

It is only by us getting to the end of our rope that we realise just what is required for success to happen.
I know that in my life, it is the worst of my failures that has taught me the most.
And with those lessons learnt I've been able to move forward to greater success. 8)
