Sarah's last pledge for the year

My family are coming over tonight and they are going to order fish and chips. My pledge is to not eat any of the chips. Not even one, because one will always turn into five, which will turn into 20 etc, etc. I'm making heaps of steamed veggies. And I won't get upset at the waste of food when I throw out the leftover chips :wink:

(While I'm here... I won't pledge anything regarding alcohol consumption on NYE, only to say that I promise to drink as much water as I do alcohol :roll: )

So true about 1 turn to 5, then into 20... Be strong and stay away from the chips so you can come back and tell us that you have resisted the temptation!

Also I have been impressed by your weight loss progress and achievement. I am hoping I can succeed and progress like you did. You have done so so well! I better put my foot down on reducing my food intake and increasing my daily exercises.

Oooh what a tough one!! Good on you for being prepared and having your steamed veggies on hand to eat. And just think - chip shop food is sooooo cheap to make, you don't need to feel guilty about binning any leftovers!!!

Hi, finally got my comuter working (it's been sick :( )

I'm pleased to report that I didn't eat any chips :D Almost ate one though, just out of habit, then remembered lol. And my mum must have reminded me that they were there at least a dozen times :roll:

Woohoo, go Sarah :D Chips are sooo hard to resist, I usually end up nicking 1 or 2 off someone's plate when I'm out to dinner. I have mum's birthday dinner on Tuesday evening - I WILL NOT STEAL ANY CHIPS!!!!
