Last night was the first Friday night that I have not had an alcoholic drink in about seven months!
I was at one stage drinking 1-2 glasses of wine a night and getting up to twice that on weekend nights (we are very social!)
My husband and I both agree that alcohol is one of the biggest contributors to our weight gain.
He too has not had a drink this week.
I make a public promise to myself today and for always to only drink one glass of wine if we have a social event on (that is really special like a wedding, dinner party etc) and ALWAYS nominate myself to be the designated driver to ensure I dont break that promise!
I will not succumb to eating fatty and sweet foods over the weekend.
I will maintain my intake of fresh fruit and high fibre (no white carbs though).
I will get off my butt and go for a walk tomorrow (I am working all day today!)
I will weigh myself on Tuesday morning and I will have lost weight!!!
