Today's Challenge

Postby Mandie » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:18 pm

Today I have an extra challenge because I just found out I have to work tonight. But it's my run night!

So my pledge is to go shopping this afternoon and buy the stuff for dinner, and make dinner early (for 6.30pm). This way I can head out for my run as soon as it gets dark (don't want anyone to see me!), cut out the extra I did last time (or, if I'm feeling good, do the extra but alternate walking and running so its faster) and try to get home in 40 minutes. Then, I can go to work and hopefully STILL make it to bed by midnight!

Nice to see you planning things Mandie. :) When you have a lot on your plate it is so much easier to plan waaaaaay ahead. I just get frustrated if I am not organised, so plan all my meals and exercise. I even put them in my diary (the exercise) like an appointment, so that I actually get my exercise time in.

Judy :D

Didn't quiiiiite go to plan. Dinner took longer than expected.

But, went for my run anyway (see the other thread) and just cut it a bit shorter than before, and now am at work. I can sleep in an extra hour and a half tomorrow (10.30am start instead of 9am) so it doesn't matter that I won't finish up my letter typing until midnight or so.. it's all good!

I'm just happy I got it all done!

And Judy - you are COMPLETELY right about planning - when I don't plan, I get NOTHING done!
