Home Made Banana Bread

Postby Sassygirl » Tue May 08, 2007 11:49 am

I pledge not to eat the whole loaf of warm, moist banana bread that I made - even though it is calling me and taunting me - I will ignore it!!!!

banana bread.... yummmmm. i can actually smell it from your description. is it really that bad for you? someone say no... please.

*runs to look up banana bread in kj book*

I have banana cake which is 830kj for a 62 gram piece. That seems like a small piece though doesn't it.

OMG. Just read the Krispy Kreme page. Will not go to Krispy Kreme. Ever.

Hehehehe ..... donnuts (Homer drooling). This banana bread has buttermilk, 1/2 cup butter (um marrrr), sugar, flour, baking powder, banana, eggs, vanilla essence - maybe the only fat is really in the butter ..... not sure ... but it is soooo yummy hot out of the oven ..... mmmmmmm ... my children love it.

Put it into the freezer straight away!!! I'm bad with freshly baked goods also... so as soon as they have cooled down a little bit into the freezer they go (normally with a little post it note stuck to it that clearly displays the calories/carbs/fat etc  )
