I went without chocolate for a whole year once because someone bet me I couldn't.

One of my fellow honours students gave up choccie as a new years resolution. She swapped it for coke though.

Both of us were mad chocaholics, so there is a precedent for success!!

Thats brilliant Tegan.
Yesterday both of my sons left chocolate bars out saying to help myself but because of my pledge I didn't.

well done! :D I got my partner to bring home the P-touch from work (one of those sticker label maker things). i've printed out a bunck of labels saying things like "Not for Tegan" "Get the hell away from the bikkies" 107kg or 70kg? Your choice". I'm going to stick them all over the bikkie jar, which has been hidden at the back of the top cupboard - in fact I'm not even sure I can reach it to put the stickers on!

You're a genius thats a truly brilliant idea!

I think we've a label maker somewhere.
I could make little messages of praise and plant them near food or rooms where I like to sit and eat.
Going strong Dolly,
You'll make it to goal
Looking thinner girl. etc.

Perhaps you could put your really great tip on the Home Grown Tips board
