Only TWO COFFEES today.

Postby carla » Tue Nov 29, 2005 9:19 am

I am having the first one right this minute.

I will have the second one at work later today on my first break.

I will drink herbal tea before and after that if I want a hot drink

I just met my coffee ration for the day (Two). Because I was upset and frustrated when my ATM card got blocked by stupid bank for no explainable reason ( I rang them) and am not able to use it til tomorrow now. I had to borrow some money from a friend which I HATE doing.

However, I managed to talk myself out of buying a very fattening, deep-fried and battered crab-stick whilst down the street which tempted me in my moment of pique.

I think I like the idea of rationing. I know where I stand.

Good work on the self-talk.
Banks can be so clinical when it comes to peoples rights and needs.

tell me about it....I was getting very towy on the phone to the staff member and resorted to the vacuous threat of 'well I'll have to change banks/not good enough/ra de ra de ra' all of which they can just quietly smirk to themselves over because they know every other bloody bank is the same anyway....

bleh....whatever happened to the idea of you know...that idea I cant think of at the moment but involves something about rules being made to be broken and people mattering more than institutions...
