Okay. It's been WEEKS since I've been to the gym, due to the hectic nature of shift work in the Emergency Department.

But now, I'm on holidays, and there are NO MORE EXCUSES!

Especially considering I'm having surgery on my arm next week and willl be out of action gym-wise for two weeks or so after that!

So I am going, today. It's 11.28am here in Perth, I'm planning to go after lunch at 1.30pm. I WILL GO!

I will post here afterwards and tell you how I went! :)

Yay, I went! If it wasn't for this forum, your lovely support, and knowing that I had posted it on here, I SO wouldn't have gone... but now I'm glad I did!

Did two rounds of my usual weights circuit (and even though I've been away from the gym for a bit, I upped some of my weights) and then managed a heart pumping 20 minutes on the X trainer at level 9... whew, I'm exhausted!

Checked my weight on the gym scales.. lets just say I approximately maintained this term :oops: Not changing the ticker though, no need, its about the same and I'll change it in a month when I hope to see a difference!

Exercise definitely in the plan for tomorrow....

Well done for keeping it up Mandy!! Not only did you go the the gym when you said you would, but you also have plans to go to gym tomorrow!!!! I'm inspired!! I need to start exercising again. I hate the gym, so i jog instead. I need to hit the road and get back into shape.
