the scales do not exist until wednesdays

Postby sassi » Wed Jul 11, 2007 9:04 am

for sassi there shall be no weighing daily! it's unhealthy for me to have my mood for the day affected by what i weigh each morning.

my scales do not exist until next wednesday (i'm gonna have to get my bf to hide them!!)

hehehe I have just put this is another post....Scott hides my scales up in the very top of one of our cupboards so I can't even reach them on a chair!! I get them given to me on my alloted weigh in day :P

I agree though Sassi, daily weighing can affect your mood for the day and you can do without the added strain......

Great pledge Sassi :)

Even better if you don't live alone (like me!) and can have someone else hide them for you. I can hide stuff, but I always remember where I have put it

so far, so good! the scales are still sitting in the bathroom and i haven't been on them since my last weigh in day, last wednesday.

when i have my shower in the morning, i've just been dropping my clothes on top of them so i can't see them. out of sight, out of mind...or something

after my eating this weekend, i was too scared to get on this morning anyways  now i just need to get past tomorrow & then it's weigh in day again.

well done sassi. putting your clothes on them is a good idea that way you dont see them staring at you! couple of days to go and you will probably be pretty surprised by what you see on the scales :)

great going sassi.....as Kate says only another couple of days!!

hubbie has his own set of scales (no not a temptation for me as they don't go high enough  ) but he keeps them in the bottom drawer of the bathroom cabinet.....out of sight so to speak

I used to weigh my self daily until it really affected my outlook for the rest of the day. If I had gained - my mood would be disgusting - unhappy, moping around etc - so now I weigh myself when I feel like it - and I am a happier person!!!
2008 - my year to be great!!
