Yesterday was very bad - I recorded my intake in CalorieKing (one quarter star), and I walked to the train station and back (40 minutes total) but I did eat pizza for dinner and had some alcohol (UDL, the most calorie filled!)...

On the bright side, we won the quiz night we went to !!! Yay :) Got a giant hamper with heaps of wine, it was awesome!

Today so far is going okay... walked down for breakfast (15 minutes) and spent a while walking around the shops and walking home, for about an hour of walking all up. At breakfast, I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and spinach.. but I got it without hollandaise sauce so it ended up being relatively healthy!

Will update on today late tonight or tomorrow

Yesterday - didn't drink enough water.. got my exercise in... recorded my intake on CalorieKing.. and avoided most treats (had a small half-piece of birthday cake last night at my uncles birthday dinner, it was a lemon cake, and i didn't have any icing.. that's something!)

So overall - two quarter stars for recording, exercise...

Running total : 3 stars

...

After I hit this 10 star goal, I will consider myself "back on track" as far as recording my intake goes, and I will alter my star criteria a little.. I wanted to give myself a star for recording my intake no matter what I ate that day because it's the thing that keeps me most accountable.. but once I'm back on track with that, I'll have a calorie goal again!

Okay.. quickly..

yesterday: avoided treats, drank 2L water, recorded on calorieking... no exercise

therefore 3 quarter stars

today: had tim tams! 2 of them.. whoops! didn't even drink my 2L of water :( walked 15 minutes to the train station from the hospital (walked to the further away station) but didn't make 30 minutes exercise... have recorded on calorieking

therefore another quarter star today

so adding one whole star

Running Total: 4 stars

Thanks Chelle :)

However, i didn't record my intake yesterday, OR drink enough water, OR avoid treats (had hot chips in the arvo because it was cold and rainy!) OR do exercise so i have my first zero star day :(

i'll improve on that today!

The only way from here is up, Mandie :P

Once your studies are over, I really think you won't know yourself!!! It's quite incredible the workload that you have to juggle at the moment... and then throw in a new love to the mix. Wow! I think you're doing really well :)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

so yeah.. limited net access over the weekend

recorded intake saturday and did about half an hour of walking - one half star

nothing sunday (bad day!) so no stars..
