Lollies under my nose!

Postby Jenni » Thu Jan 19, 2006 3:29 pm

I work in an office with several other people who mostly eat healthy and exercise regularly as i do, however, i came in thismorning and there is a big bowl of toffies on the counter which i sit behind! Just sitting there for me to eye on all day!

There's also some in the break room, a massive bin bag full of them and a box of praline chocolate leaves! I restisted so far....

i pledge not to touch a single one!

was it Dolly who suggested the visualisation of the offending food in something disgusting? You could try picturing those lollies being dropped in to a swerage tank!!! ewwww, no lollies for me thanks.

And most guys don't

How about taking the offending bowl of lollies and placing them in the break room with the others. Explain you have a toothache and don't want to be tempted.
OR even better tell the truth, that you are desperately trying to lose weight.

:)
I understand totally, I have the same problem in the office I work in. Someone keeps leaving on the table in our lunchroom packets of assorted biscuits...all the good ones, Tim Tams, Scotch Finger, Mint Slice....etc.... for anyone to help themselves and just a few days ago a huge tin of gold wrapped toffees appeared on the table( I know they are wrapped in gold as I took the lid off and had a quick look !!!!!) I did resist but Im sick of those damn lollies calling to me every lunch break so today I put them in a cupboard !!!! I put a note on the table..."If your looking for the lollies, they are in the cupboard under the microwave !!!!! "
No more temptation :D

Nicely done Andi, and if they reappear, do it again. They'll learn soon enough.
