My rewards:

73kgs - new swimmers - (yikes :) )
71kgs - a new hair do
68kgs - make-up
64kgs - a nice dress (maxi type)
60kgs - A facial, manicure, pedicure, massage (a day at a day spa)

Will assess how I look at 60kgs. My ultimate goal weight is 55kgs (that's middle of a healthy BMI for me)

55kgs - a day with a stylist (my sis has promised to pay for me on the condition that I reach this weight) and get a new wardrobe.
Start weight - 77kgs
Goal weight - 53kgs
Current Weight - 50.1kgs

No more weighing, no more scales. My measurement is my success at health. It's an investment I make every single day. My priority: be healthy!

could always just tailor them down to fit the new body, maybe even ask them to re design it for a fresh new look

I thought about that, but it was just too much bother for me I think  And it was kinda cathartic to get rid of the old granny wardrobe (since that was what fit me) and get something more chic
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

What a nice sister you have, Bella.

I am definitely going to get a stylist when all this flab has disappeared!

Under 70kg: New shoes
68kg: New dress
Under 65kg: Spray tan
63kg (If I decide to keep losing weight after 65kg): Teeth bleached

Given my painfully slow rate of progress I'll probably have at least a year to save up between mini-goals. :(

I don't know if this has been said before but what I do is I put $50 in a money box for each 5kg I lose. I chose for every 5kg because that in it's self is a large weight loss but it is small enough to make 28kg to lose sound not so large. So this is what it looks like;

Start at 93kg,
Reach 88kg - $50 in kitty
Reach 83kg - $50 in kitty
Reach 78kg - $50 in kitty
Reach 73kg - $50 in kitty
Reach 68kg - $50 in kitty
Reach 65kg - $50 in kitty

All up $300:) Thats nothing to sneeze at. Plus I have been putting $5 in for each week I have a loss if I can afford it that is. So far there is $70 in my kitty, $20 for each week(4) I am planning to put a couple more $5 in for this week and the next two. So that is an extra $140 of course that is assuming that I will loss at least 1kg a week and my weight loss journey goes for 28wks so could be more or could be less. I am thinking I will have at least $500 to spend YAY!

I don't like the idea of buying 'skinny' clothes that don't fit me, (for when I get to goal) what if they still don't fit me properly at 65kg What if they look horrid lol, I would much rather just reward my goals with money so that when I get to goal I can buy a new wardrobe. I am so excited and really looking forward to it. What girl doesn't like clothes and shopping what more of a reward would I want

Ooo I like this!! My things have to be small though, coz we're POOORR at the moment because of our reception :p Plus I've been buying clothes like crazy for winter because I've put on the bulk of my weight since last winter and none of my clothes fit me anymore.

Ok, so here's what I will do:

Lose 5kgs - Give myself a manicure and pedicure
Lose 8kgs - Get my dress taken in for my reception
Lose 10kgs - Go out to dinner (if this coincides with my reception then I'll just use that)
Lose 15kgs - Buy myself 10 driving lessons
Lose 20kgs - Get my drivers licence
Lose 25kgs - Buy myself some perfume (Christina Aguilera's recent scent)
Lose 30kgs - Buy myself new earrings
Lose 35kgs - Buy a new swimsuit
Lose 40kgs - Go on holiday to Hervey bay
Lose 45kgs - Buy myself some new sexy undies
Lose 50kgs - Buy some new clothes :)
Lose 55kgs (my goal) - Buy a car

I only have one reward for my loss so far. Once I hit 70kgs spot on, we are heading to Melbourne kids free for a week. My goal is 60kgs so I need to think of something extra special to do then. Maybe a $1000 shopping spree?

I'm utterly hopeless with these reward things. Promising myself new shoes when I get under 70kg is fine but I have to find the shoes first! And I've bought myself several new dresses since starting out, none of them as a reward for getting to 68kg. And I got a teeth bleaching kit really cheap online, so I guess there goes my 63kg gift to myself!

I need to set myself rewards that I'm not likely to cheat on and buy early!

oooo I LOVE that idea!! I've been attempting to get up the courage to get a tattoo myself, either a butterfly (for transformation), or an hourglass cat (coz they're pretty). If I cant afford a car when I reach my goal, then I'll just get a tattoo :)

Thanks laura!!
