MT - 2 snack right biscuits, a mango and a cup of green /mint tea

L - Drained flavoured tuna, 6 prawns with low fat tartare sauce and a salad

Hey Fiona!
You can get some low carb pasta in the supermarket! It's called "e Sapore" and you can get plain, tomato & chilli or garlic & herb fettucine. It's very nice :D But Hokkien noodles are also great :D

Thanks Em!

I was pretty hungry tonight, but could only 3/4 of my dinner, I was STUFFED. I think maybe my body is getting used to no major carbs (bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc).

I was sooooooooooo pissed though because I poured some tomato pasta sauce in THEN looked at the label. I bought a different one last week and assumed it was non fat like many of these kind are...well it was 5grams per serve!!!

I went for a 10min walk while it was cooking to help burn some of that off

I'm normally really good with labels but I missed that one.

Weigh in day tomorrow! I'm both nervous and excited :? :D

That's great that your body is getting used to less food and no major carbs :D :D Aww don't stress too much about the fat in the pasta sauce, it's only one meal :) Just check more carefully next time and you'll be fine :)
I'm a label scrutiniser too :P

Well done on going for that extra walk because of it!! You're amazing, girl!! GOOD LUCK for your weigh in, I have the feeling you're going to get a fabulous result :D

Did I hear "low carb pasta" and "supermarket" in the same sentence??? I've been searching the internet for another place that sells it since my usual place is not operating anymore. Off to the supermarket I go!!!

Good luck Fiona, sounds like you're in for a great result :D

PS: Not posting my food diary for Saturday, it's toooo embarassing. Today maybe lol.

It's in flat skinny boxes :) Not in plastic packets like the other pasta. If you can't find it I'm happy to buy up on some and send it over :)
It's yummy too!

Thanks Em! I had a look in Coles the other day and couldn't see it. Will check Safeway when I go at lunchtime. Maybe it's not sold everywhere :?

EDIT: Found it at Safeway at lunchtime..... along with.... HOT CROSS BUNS (which I did NOT buy  ). Excellent!

Per 100g (dry weight), this one as 37g carbs as opposed to 74g carbs for regular pasta. So half the carbs basically :D

there's a website too... http://www.esapore.com

Excellent :D Glad it's what you're looking for, Sarah! It's quite filling too because of all the protein in it. The onion & garlic one is yummy!

Mmm hot cross buns.. I hate the Coles/Woolworths ones though. Brumby's Choc Chip ones, now THEY are where it's at :P :P Not bad on cal's either!!! I had some in the freezer from last easter that mum was at me to get rid of, so I finished the last few :P Not all at once, mind you, but it was tempting :P :P
