Lunch; Le Rice, apple, strawberries and a mini sesame snap

A-tea; homemade protein slice

Tea; mushroom, egg, tomato and red and green capsicum all cooked on the health grill (no oil) with wholemeal toastx1 and worcestershire sauce

Dessert; Share pack size mars red and a share pack size time out

Supper; Fruche and home made protein slice.

Tea; chicken breast grilled in the George Foreman with seasoning, steamed beans, snow peas, cabbage, broccoli , carrot and red and green capsicum

Dessert; 1 dark Ferrero and 1 snack size Mars Red

E/tea; 1 fruche and home made protein slice

Lunch; extra light ricotta cheese, avocado, cucumber,beetroot, tomato and capsicum on wholemeal and an apple.

A/tea; home made protein slice and black tea/herbal tea/coffee

Tea; omelette made with 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites with tomato and capsicum and steamed beans, carrot, snow peas,cabbage and broccoli

Dessert; 1 dark Ferrero and 1 Mars red snack size

E/snack; porridge and blueberries and a piece of home made protein slice

I still have some calories left but Im sure Ill put them to good use :lol: .

Edited; With the spare calories I had I decided on another piece of home made protein slice, I think Im becoming addicted to the stuff.

Lunch; 6 corn thins and celery sticks with 1/3 jar of hot doritos salsa, apple and strawberries

A/tea; home made protein slice and black tea/coffee/herbal tea

Tea; spicy apricot chicken casserole (Symply too good to be true cookbooks) , brown rice, steamed broccoli, beans and snow peas

Dessert; 1 dark Ferrero and 1 snack size Mars Red

E/tea; porridge and blueberries

I also have a few cals left again and I'll decide what to do with them later.

A/tea- protein slice black coffee

Tea- multigrain sandwich with avocado, ricotta, tomato, cucumber, capsicum, beetroot and egg

Dessert- a piece of dark fruit cake and a Jarrah

E/tea; protein slice (slightly addicted), a jarrah, an apple, strawberries and a fun size mars red.

Hi Choco :) . Its from the CK website. The texture is a bit weird at first but I am truly addicted to it now.
I have been playing with the recipe and been adding things like chopped dried apricot, almonds, coconut and prunes. It is up to you.
I also make my own apple sauce by stewing them and then smooshing them with a stab mixer, I leave the skin on and add some cinnamon to them while cooking and I use baking paper in the oven tray rather than oil spray or flour.


Ingredients:

1/4 cup rolled oats, divided

1/4 cup sultana bran cereal

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp bicarbonate soda

1 pinch of salt

4 large egg whites

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 Tbsp peanut butter, light

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray 8x8 inch square pan with non-stick spray and lightly flour.

Blend 1/8 cup of rolled oats and cereal in a blender. Mix until powder-like. Add protein powder, cloves, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Blend until mixed.

In a separate bowl, mix egg whites and 1/8 cup rolled oats with hand mixer. Add vanilla, peanut butter, and applesauce. Mix well.

Add in the dry ingredients, mix well. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 15 minutes, until top is dry and sides pull away from pan. Cut into eight bars.
Variations:

There are many options for these bars. Try chocolate protein powder and omit the spices. Or add some cooked mashed pumpkin and some spices like cinamon or nutmeg. The possibilities are endless!

No worries, do be aware though the texture is a bit weird at first (almost cakey like) and I also found I had to bake it for 5-8 minutes longer than the recipe calls for :) .

Tea; grilled spiced chicken breast, steamed cabbage, cauli, broccoli, snow peas and beans

Dessert; 4 squares of Whittakers rum and rasin chocolate

E/tea; porridge, blueberries , 1/2 protein slice, a choccie biscuit (mandarin slice :P ) and a jarrah.

Ok, I have to do some editing as I sampled far too much home made muesli bar as it was cooling :P :oops: . Good news though I can salvage the day and still come in with 2 calories to spare :lol: :wink: and it has made me have a healthier dinner so there is a silver lining and all that :roll: :lol: .




Bfast; light and tasty,milk, blueberries and yoghurt

M/tea; protein slice and a black tea

Lunch; wholemeal roll with egg, 97% ff mayo,beetroot and ricotta, an apple, strawberries and 5 yes 5 pieces of home made muesli bar

A/tea; ------------------------

Tea; a big vegie stir fry with garlic, ginger, cabbage, cauli, broccoli, snow peas and beans with a dash of hoi sin and oyster sauce thrown in

Dessert; 1 square of chocolate

E/tea; celery sticks and salsa.

A/tea; herbal tea only, ended up with a late lunch

Tea; home made pizza

Dessert; rum and raisin choclate (4 squares)

E/tea; protein slice, porridge, blueberries and an apple

Anyhow Im off to meet a friend for coffee (or a diet coke) have fun all.
