Hi Sue,

I was just wondering how many kilojoules you usually aim for each day & if you continue to lose weight like that or do you find that your body gets use to that amount and stops losing?

I mean, if you continue to eat less kjs than you burn will you inevitably have to lose weight or does your body readjust itself?

Hi Sam, I have just hit maintenance cals in the last 3 weeks so I have recently upped the food. Towards the end I was still trying to lose and I was on 1260, recommended was 1200 but I struggled at times on 1260 so I wasnt prepared to drop any further. The last couple of weeks I have gone up to 1590 cals and last time I weighed I had still dropped another couple of kilos, that includesd a huge meal out in that time also. I will weigh again on the weekend and see what has happened in the last week or so.
I havent had any problems with not losing as I lost pretty much every week, there may have been one or two weeks where I didnt have a loss but that was only because I had gone out for a big Chinese meal or something like that. I did have a few slow weeks but they all evened out in the end.

I am aiming for 1200 but would be happy to eat under 1300. You do a lot of exercise though don't you? I hate exercise but am trying. Is it true that the more you do the more you get addicted to it and actually want to exercise?

I dont know, I dont really enjoy exercising, I never have but I do miss my walks if I dont manage to get one in so I make sure that I do.
I know that while I might feel crap about going out in the cold or whatever, I will feel great when I get back.

I dont think I do a lot of exercise, maybe I do, but it isnt anything highly energetic, just mostly walking with a bit of jogging or bike riding thrown in :P .

I hate exercising too except for pleasant strolls that is....but no full on exercise. I am not even sure that strenuous exercise is that good for you. ;)

..I am hoping to take after my nana, lol...she lived to 100 and she only ever walked around slowly...did the housework at her own pace etc.

I figured I'll get back to doing my food on here again, I have been on a bit of a downer the last month (our doggie died) or so and I have decided Im not doing myself or my dog any good by carrying on the way I have been so back to it :D .

I am on 1590 cals and still losing, for now Im happy with that but I will have to up the cals before too much longer, however......I had a bit of a big food session on Saturday night and we have Juniors Birthday party this Saturday coming so I am going to stick with 1590 cals for now and I am going to aim for 1200 cals this Friday and Sunday to help combat any 'damage' I may do on Saturday night.
Once my weight has stabilised again I plan to up myself to 1700 cals even but I have a sneaky suspicion that I will have to up the cals again after that.

Now thats out of the way..........

B/fast; yoghurt, muesli, blueberries and 1 slice of home made protein slice

M/tea; home made muesli slice and black tea

Lunch; 1 Tip Top fruit muffin, 1 tspn. peanut paste, 1 tspn. honey, 1 banana, watermelon, 1 apple and some blueberries

A/tea; home made protein bar, black tea

Tea; fish fillet, cauli, broccoli, cabbage and snow peas (all steamed)

Dessert; fun size Turkish Delight and violet crumble

Supper; skimmed milk, chocolate topping, 1 white Tim Tam, 1 split ice cream, porridge and stewed apple and a diet creme caramel.

Have a few cals left will update later :) .

Its the one in the recipe section of calorie king, I have played around with it quite a bit by adding various dried fruits and nuts.
I found theirs was nice but I wanted someting more filling, hence the fruit and nuts I have been adding.

My current additions to it are dried dates, walnuts and carrot, I cant get enough of it.

If you cant find it on Ck give me a yell and Ill post it here :) .
