Breakfast - Half an apple ( Small ), Tangerine, Tea with skim milk
Lunch - Chicken Soup, Mochacino ...
Dinner - Steamed Veggies
Snack - Candy Bananas
Water - 2.25 Litres

Excercise - 30 Mins High Cardio 30 Mins Weights 30 Mins Sauna

hey sophie! Nice to meet you... You sound very motivated but i am worried you arent really eating enough to power you along through all of that training you are planning! :D Your body might decide to hold onto the weight you are trying to get rid of as it thinks you are starving it! You need to eat a balance of foods but ill let you take a read of this site http://www.calorieking.com.au
Good on you for your water intake though..Best of luck with getting to those goals :)

Hi thanks for the welcome.

Eating is my biggest down fall.... I dont know what to eat when and how...
I think you are right...

Should I have a bigger lunch? If so what should I have? I am ravished around 3.00pm and then dont have energy to go do a work out?!

welcome :) i agree, you're definately not eating enough! you need to eat more! check out calorie king link that court sent you, its a really good resource, and its free. also you need to eat PROTEIN. whether its chicken, ham, tinned tuna, egg, cheese etc... protein keeps you fuller for longer - i have 2 eggs in the morning for breakfast some days and it keeps me so full. same as having a chicken sandwich, or a tuna salad etc. for dinner if you like steamed veggies add a piece of lean meat - steak chicken breast etc.

Soph - check this out - it is something i put together a while ago and pretty muc is the principles i eat around..you might find this an EXHORBITANT amount of food...but eating 6 small meals a day and incorporating the food groups will see you to success :) Good Luck feel free to PM me as well if you need any advice!

Breakfast
- Bowl of cereal with lite white, a piece of wholegrain toast with scrape of p/nut butter OR
- Poached egg on wholegrain bread and a piece of fruit OR
- Two slices of wholegrain bread with p/nut butter and a glass of milk

Snack
- A piece of fruit and a cereal bar (try for low sugar types) OR
- Yoghurt and 10 almonds OR
- Yoghurt with dried fruit or berries OR
- Crisp bread with low fat cheese/ cottage cheese or scrape of peanut butter or vegemite OR
- Pita crisps with salsa OR
- Raw veges cut up in sticks with salsa

Lunch
- One ham sandwich on wholegrain bread with a side salad OR
- Two boiled eggs, a salad and two pieces of wholegrain bread with light spread marg OR
- A can of tuna mixed with light ranch dressing on a salad sandwich

Snack
- One choice from previous snack list

Dinner
- Healthy!!!
- Two rules which are good grilled and steamed and compliment with a carbohydrate but a SMALL serve!!
- Veges veges veges are key!
- Tomatoes are delicious grilled!!
- i.e a small serve is a dinner roll or half a cup of rice

Snack
- choose a snack from previous list!!

MUST DRINK WATER WATER WATER, 1.5 – 2L a day – this is key!….if you must drink other drinks please make sure they are diet!!! Try and keep away from processed foods – the more natural the food is the better! Make white wine spritzers – i.e. ½ wine ½ soda water – ½ the calories!

Thanks I will take a look.

Maybe tommorow my b/l/d will look like this

Breakfast - Black Coffee ( I cant drop it ), 2 Egg Whites ( I have had a cholesterol problem before ) and 1 chopped tomato

Lunch - Cold Rolls ( are these BAD???? they taste so damn good... yet are the rice noodles fattening in them ) OR Steamed Chicken and Broccoli no sauce salt etc. OR one large sweet potato

Dinner - Soup homemade.... pumpkin or lentil... OR Steamed Veggies with Fish, Tuna or Chicken

Snack - Fruit

Oh and Court just got your post through GOOOODD GRACIIOUSSS that seems ALOT OF FOOD... but at least I wont go hungry... I will be excercising 30 mins a day 7 days a week... is that too little ???

ok sooooo ... this is my day

B - apple and tangerine with cup of tea with milk and sweetner ( skim milk )
L - cuppa soup chicken and croutons ( YUCK )
Snack - Banana and candy bananas ( NAUGHTY ) , 1 Rivita
D - Stir Fry, Olive Oil, Garlic, Ginger, Fresh Corriander, Chicken Breast, Water Chessnuts, Bean Shoots and 3 Baby Corn with a fat free sauce which was high in sodium :(
Water - 2.25 Litres !

Tuesday 23/06/09

B- 2 Ravita, 1 Egg White, 1 Sliced Tomato
L- Left over stir fry
D- Steamed Broccoli with Chicken Breast
Snack- Green Tea, Pear
Water - 2.25L

How does this sound ?????

Oh excercise was 45 mins of hard cardio and 15 mins in the sauna ... Phewwwww :lol:

arghhh today was hard

breakfast - ravita 2 slices, 1 egg white, 1 tiny tomato
snack - pear mandarin and 4 strawberries
lunch - left over stir fry
dinner - steamed chicken , broccoli, snow peas, cabbage ( tiny portions )2 ravita with scrape of vegimite
snack - sultanas, green tea

2L of water

Am I eating right?!

I rowed 2000m and also did 20 mins of cardio... i am so tired :(

L- Steamed chicken breast and brocolli.... with a teaspoon and a half of honey and soy sauce 98% fat free
Snack- Pear
D- Steamed Veggies with chicken breast again

Soph have you chekced out calorieking yet? I think you should put all your stats in and what you are eating becuase I still think you arent eating enough :shock: :D

Hey court!

I did it and it said i should have 1462 calories :shock:
plus 45 mins exercise ... it did say I was over weight ... and should be between 43-56 kilos ... thought so.

Anyway

today so far I have had for dinner/snack afternoon

1 diet coke

1 apple for snack afternoon

Tuna - 225gms in brine
2 cups of lettuce
1 stick of celery
handful of corriander
splash of soy and honey with sweet chilli ( weird dressing i know )
mixed into a big salad

2 ravita 1 scrape of vegimite


Im still hungry :(
