I have always been a big water drinker Kate, (no I don't have diabetes, I have been tested!!) but water is the main stay in my day. If I don't drink enough each day, I end up feeling quite lethargic and sometimes will get the starting of a bladder infection. I also wanted to be a good example to the kids....monkey see monkey do, and I wanted them to see that water is the important drink in our daily diets....

ah thats good then :) i have never been a big water drinker- i only drank a lot during pregnancy and thats it. (and in africa) at least you didnt have to get yourself into the habit of drinking water- i did. im doing much better with it now drinking at least 2L a day. hopefully my toilet trips settle down after a while lol. i always give heidi water as opposed to juice (she doesnt like juice anyway).

I have learned to drink water more regularly over the last year or so. Now I find I hardly drink anything else except my milk in the morning I almost never miss.

Oh and the toilet trips are still the same.

 Oh dear I stopped for petrol on the way home and spied the tim tams as I got near the counter. Thought yeah I could go a tim tam but then wondered what would happen to the rest of the packet and so I didn't buy them.

Believe me I would normally eat the whole 1/2 packet (share it with hubby) but I have taken to checking out the calorie content and that pulls me up quick smart!! 1 tim tam cost me 115 Calories (which is a lot considering I only work on 250 Calories for optional indulgences each day). When I sit and look at the fact that I was eating a whopping 575 (2407kilojoules) calories in half a packet...phew no wonder I got sooooo huge!! That is incentive for me to stop at one. Scott saved me 2 and I asked him to put them in 2 seperate freezer bags and put them in the bottom of the freezer for me ( I can't reach down the bottom!!! LOL)
