Hi everyone!! Im new here, my names Alyssa and Im trying to drop from a size 10 to a size 8. (: Ive just started going to the gym about a month ago so Im trying to do weights twice a week and 45-60mins cardio 4-5 times a week as well as trying to eat better. I don't really have a weight goal. My main goal is to get to a size 8 because I want to have some 'photos' taken to give to my boyfriend for christmas and also because I want to test for Playboy. (:
I recently found my stats from August 09... Ive been yoyo-ing since then so Ive finally found something I can stick to. So here's my stats from Aug 09 and my current ones from June 10.

August 09:
HEIGHT: 5'2
WEIGHT: 60.1KG (132pounds)
BUST: 85cm
WAIST: 70cm
HIPS: 86cm
UPPER ARM: 31cm
WRIST: 17cm
THIGH: 56cm
ANKLE: 25cm
AUS CLOTHING SIZE: 10/11

June 2010:
HEIGHT: 5'2
WEIGHT: 62KG (136pounds) grr
BUST: 83cm
WAIST:66cm
HIPS:86cm
UPPER ARM:28cm
WRIST: 16cm
THIGH: 56cm
ANKLE: 24cm
AUS CLOTHING SIZE: 10

my thread is under the "almost there" forum
im going pretty well with my diet and exercise. you should look up womenshealthmag.com for some great weight workouts. i really cant stress enough how weights help you loose weight! i would definatley not loose 1-2kg per week without them!

yeh i had the trainer put together a weights program for me but im not losing any weight. i can def feel my muscles getting more toned though. maybe i just need 2 give it more time. but i did get a pair of size 8 jeans up the other day...! lol. couldnt do up the buttons and they were a bit tight but thats progress! howve you been going? x

yeah you may need to give it longer. everyone is different and if a trainer did it up for you im sure its right.
ive been going well too. i have 7 weeks before i go away so i aim to loose those 7kg. its more about being toned, slim and fit though. i def want to be a size 8 by then!
congrats on the jeans thats definatley progress!

No way! I havent given up - i ran out of net credit so havent been able to get online :(
Im doing okay...

diary for 16th-
b: nutri grain
l: french toast w. jam
d: tacos
snacks: corn chips, oops lol
drinks: coffee, water, milk, juice
exercise: 40mins on cross trainer. 6.5kms.

diary for 17th -
b: raisin toast
l: pasta
d: chops & chips
snack: buscuits
drinks: tea, water, juice, milk
exercise: 40mins on cross trainer. 5.5kms.

yeh i figured theyre going to happen. no point stressing too much about them. i dont really have a goal weight... i dont really mind how much i weigh i want to just tone up and lose some inches/cms (: im not sure what the measurements are for a size 8. i read an article in womens health (i think?) recently that said its hard to say because there's no standards for sizes in australia. :\ but i did find this link online which could be a good estimate lol :D if your hips measurements are off you prob did what i did and measured where your pants sit but you actually measure the widest part around your bum (: so atm im a hips 38 and a size 8 is a hips 36... hope that helped a bit!

yeah im the same. my goal weight is 55-56kg because thats where i think i would be slim and toned.

im back from a few days away (: going to start getting back into a routine tomorrow... going to the gym and eating right. ive had a really bad mouth ulcer so i havent been eating good foods coz i cnt chew :( lol. i'v decided im going to get a stripper pole for my lounge room, might be an easy way to burn some calories without feeing like im exercising.

oh & im not really big on veggies. i mostly have them with dinners but only usually have like potato/sweet potato, corn, carrots, peas etc. haha
