Had a truly horrendous day yesterday in terms of my food intake. Encountered a horrible person at work and after work in order to soothe my emotions and stuff my feelings down I went and binged.

Breakfast: dried fruit 107
Bran cereal 186
Yoghurt 78
Coffee 17

Snack: Sesame snaps 208

Lunch: 3 corn thins 66
2 pieces burgen soy and linseed bread 198
Cheese 135
Eggs 139
Yoghurt 66

After work/start of binge: 4 jaffa cake biscuits 196
100g milk chocolate 562

Dinner/still binging: veal 300
Crispbread 48
Frozen yoghurt 103
White bread roll 238
Margarine 49
Honey 38

Calories: 2734, walked for 79 minutes. The reason I binged is because this lady was speaking to me so rudely, and she'd say sorry...and then the next hour she'd be rude to me again! Really started getting to me, I wanted to cry. But I talked over with my mum and she gave me a pep talk about what to say to this lady the next time she speaks to me in a censored way so that made me feel better.

Had a horrible day again, this time not in overeating but in overexercising because I felt guilty about the day before. I've read that in terms of bulimia, overexercising to extremes can constitute purging in the same way as vomiting. I've been scared of falling into this trap again, and after walking for 3 hours and 39 minutes yesterday I can see it happening again and it fills me with great dread. Maybe I should just put a limit on myself no matter what in terms of exercise, no more than 90 minutes a day and not a minute over even if I have had too much food.

My mum had a horrifying day yesterday, she somehow got a sewing needle stuck in her foot and it went right to the bone! She is scheduled to go under general anaesthetic today which is pretty major to get it removed. Saw her at the hospital last night and this morning, its so horrible.

Breakfast: Peach 55
Optifast bar 217
Coffee 17

Snack: Yoghurt 68

Lunch: Pumpkin and lentil salad 273
V8 tomato juice 61

Snack: Carrot, beetroot and celery juice 84

Dinner: Optifast bar 217
Almonds 84
2 pieces soy and linseed bread 198
cheese 140
peanut butter 185
apple 81

Calories: 1680, as mentioned before 3 hours and 39 minutes of walking. Yes its too excessive and obsessive and even bordering on mental instability as awful as that is for me to admit. Scared about my mum's surgery today. Also tomorrow is my birthday and I'm not sure if she will be out of the hospital tomorrow so that is upsetting.

Carrots 144

Snack: yoghurt 69
Peach 55

Thanks Karin! It was a really yummy chocolate custard cake from this super-duper expensive bakery called Pattison's. My mum always make me a cake but she couldn't this year because she was still hospital. But she has promised that this coming weekend she will be making me her usual cake (which will be my 'real' birthday cake lol) =) I love pink cake with sprinkley, yum!

you know some of the contestants on the biggest looser, they do that amount of exercise too per day. they get big kilo losses.
i dont think the exercise is exsessive really, as long as its under control, if you know what i mean. same as eating cake. if we eat the whole cake and do it without control then there is a problem, but if we have a slice, enjoy it and know when to stop, then its fine.
if you can just stop the exercise and not have some little voice saying if I dont do 50kms on the bike my legs will fall off.
I was seeing a phyciatrist person for 18mths, and I have little issues, which he helped me overcome and its ok to do these things, as long as they dont overtake my life. and as long as I dont associate bad things happening if I dont do them, or do them.

As a teen when I lost weight, I really did have a huge problem with overexercising 'If I don't spend 9 hours pedalling on this exercise bike, I will gain back all the weight I've lost'. And the pathetic thing is that I actually did it (the exercise that is). Anyways I kind of feel like I'm doing too much exercise and its been hard for me to not do more today but I'm managing.

I can't wait to watch the Biggest Loser this year, the previews for it look really good! :D

I had a terrible binge yesterday night when I came home from work, I mean really bad! I didn't exactly have lots of junky foods at home and I still managed to eat over 3000 calories! Last night when I went to bed, I'd eaten so much food that my stomach literally felt swollen from food it was so awful. On reflection I know what triggered it though, there's nothing I can do about it now and I'm not going to go and overexercise so that's that. I'm going to get back on the wagon.

Yesterday's intake:
Breakfast: vanilla slim and trim shake 207
chocolate optifast bar 217
coffee 17

Lunch:
70g multigrain roll 152
2 pieces coon cheese 140
100g chicken schnitzel 331
carrot+lettuc 10
hoummus 34
peach 61
lindt chocolate 77

Dinner: beef stirfy with rice, broccoli and capsicum 600
frozen yoghurt 103

Binge :( (approximately)
Bread 99
Margarine 49
Blueberry bar 116
Apple muffin bar 140
Rice crackers 77
Vitaweet crackers 258
Jarrah hot chocolate 45
2 nectarines 110
2 cruskits 48
Sweetened condensed milk 86
Vitaweet 92

Calories: 3069, spent 63 minutes on the exercise bike.

Coffee 17

Snack: nectarine 67
Yoghurt 69
lindt dark raspberry ball 73

Lunch: bread 198

ham 50
peach 42

snack: corn thins 66

dinner: tuna pasta bake 489

sweetened condensed milk 138

Oh gosh, yes I have had the sweetened condensed milk straight from the tube! I'm much ashamed to say. :(

And lol, yes if you remove the extra sweet/fatty foods from the equation it should mean a lesser likelihood of bingeing but when someone is determined to binge they can binge on anything (like me) >.< My mum has made the most beautiful birthday cake for me tomorrow, its from the Women's Weekly Best Ever Recipes cookbook. Its been my favourite for a long time now, can't wait. The calories will just have to be a bit over (or even very over) tomorrow I'm indulging.

Yesterday's intake:
Bran cereal 186
Vanilla forme yoghurt 78
coffee 17

Snack: two mint lindt chocolate balls (in staff room) 147
Tropical forme yoghurt 72
nectarine 52

Lunch: two pieces soy and linseed bread 198
2 pieces reduced fat coon cheddar cheese 140
ham 50
hoummus 32
peach 55

Snack: ben and jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice-cream 254

Dinner: optifast chocolate bar 217
'joules' 3 fruits pastilles 59
rice crackers 175

Calories: 1732, and alot of exercise...two hours and 15 minutes. It quickly added up because I walked to work in the morning (that was an hour), then I went into the city after work and did some walking there (I love the sydney cbd, so that was another hour). Went to a cinema closer to my home the next suburb over and called mum to see 'Black Swan' with me, while waiting for her and I walked around the block for 15 minutes.

Black Swan was a very weird movie, not my cup of tea really.

Waaaaaaaah I feel like I am officially in trouble now. Yesterday I spent 90 minutes on the exercise bike (45 minutes in the morning and 45 mins in the arvo), 96 minutes swimming and 1 hour walking. So 246 minutes of exercise- 4 hours and 6 minutes!

Breakfast: fruit slice 168
fruit bar 116

At a celebration for my birthday, so morning tea/lunch- vegetarian sausage rolls 333
half piece of cake 400
cherries/pieces of melon- 100
3 guylian chocolates 195
light and creamy vanilla ice-cream 160

snack: nectarine 44
peach 45

Dinner: sausage roll 333
sundried tomato and cheese muffin (homemade with wholemeal flour) 202
3 cheese flavoured rice cakes 96
power bar 176

Calories: 2368, but over 4 hours of exercise! Oh gosh, if only I were a non-hungry eater I could've been 66 kilos months ago. This emotional eating sucks and so does the panic over-exercise :( I feel like a rat in a trap.

Monday's food:

Bran cereal 186
yoghurt 78
coffee 17
monster locarb drink 26

snack: cherries 55
yoghurt 72

lunch: 6 cheese flavoured rice cakes 192
cheese 140
ham 50
cherries 55

snack: chocolate tootsie roll 220

dinner: garlic bread 1015

Calories: 2106, 74 minutes of walking. I'd been looking at the garlic bread in a supermarket called thomas dux for 6 months so when I bought some I sat down on a seat outside the shop and I couldn't stop eating it. There were people walking past and I felt no shame, all I could think about was shoving the bread down my throat.
