Sharrelle; I use quinoa crumbs because they are wheat free (I'm allergic to wheat). Quinoa is also packed with protein! :)

I buy them from Coles in the health food isle, they are by 'Orgran' and they have multigrains mixed in with it too! So much better than breadcrumbs. LINK! http://www.orgran.com/products/328/

Today was a big day! Because I did the late shift at work, my meal times were kinda outta wack, but I don't mind and my trainer said as long as my body is fueled properly he doesn't mind when I eat.

I got up and went to training and smashed out a 45min weights session. It KILLED me. It's now 11pm and I'm already sore... Can't wait to see how I feel tomorrow morning haha!

Breakfast: Leftover tuna patties before training.

Morning tea/Lunch: After training before work...Home made gluten free banana pancakes (no added sugar) with fresh strawberries, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey. (My boyfriend made these...He is an angel, I devoured them! So delish).

Dinner: Home made minestrone with chilli!

After dinner snack: A couple more tuna patties!

It's amazing how much more I eat on days I train in the morning. I think I should have eaten more fruit today, but I did get bananas and strawberries in at morning tea, and lots of veg in from my minestrone so it's probably not that bad. On a lighter note I have been scoffing heaps of herbal tea with NO milk. I don't want to cut out milk...I just want to reduce the amount I'm drinking. I only ever crave it sometimes so there's no reason for me to be drinking gallons.

Looking forward to weighing myself on Monday...My trainer said to not feel discouraged if I don't lose anything due to how much muscle I am developing. As long as I'm feeling slimmer and the clothes aren't as tight then that's just as good :)
I have a feeling I will lose what I am aiming for, as it's only 400gm but I promise I won't let it get me down if I don't!!

Until tomorrow!

Yesterday was basic!

Breakfast: All my vitamins and a protein shake with a banana.

Morning tea: Peppermint tea

Lunch: Minestrone.

Dinner: Roast chicken and corn cob.

BORING.

But TODAY is a WHOLE different story. Today was most definetly my 'no limits' reward day for all the healthy eating I have been doing for the last seven days.

WARNING: SWEETS, CARBS, CAFFIENE AND ALCOHOL TO FOLLOW

Due to the fact that my lovely man and I haven't had a date in who knows HOW long, we decided today would be perfect, as I also recently got a new DSLR camera and also wanted to give that a gallop. So on went our 'adventure date'!

We had a lovely sleep in today so we got up lateish. For breakky I didn't really have much...I had a big glass of milo which was DELISH!

Lunch was at a LOVELY winery in near Healsville. We shared a pumpkin and parmesan risotto, kangaroo and mushroom stew, and a celeriac and truffle soup with beetroot jus. I had one glass of a yarra valley syrah, and the boy had an apple cider.

Dessert after lunch was hardcore. I had a gluten free chocolate cake slice which came with a fluffy strawberry cream whilst my boyfriend had a berry cheesecake. I also shared my boyfriends cuppacino. (No added sugar)

I took some beautiful photos at the winery as we were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow over the vinyards!
After this we went to Healsville Sanctuary and I took lots of photos of scenery and some super cute animals.

Going to make another soup for lunches this week; pumpkin, sweet potato, cauliflower, leek, zucchini, garlic and onion soup to be exact. YUM.

For dinner we are having blue grenadier with veg.

Today I felt no guilt for the 'bad' foods I ate, and in all honesty, I controlled my portions and I TOTALLY DESERVED IT.

But, I have a feeling my weightloss may NOT be that good at tomorrow mornings weigh in ;)
OH WELL! I feel good and I am back on my healthy bandwagon as of right now. There's no point in working towards a 'better me' without rewarding myself every now and then.

Today was a great day!
I got up and weighed myself and achieved my goal for the week! You can read about it in the weekly weigh in section.

Breakfast: My home made pumpkin soup? LOL. Weird order of food today.

Morning tea: 2 gluten free brown rice cruskits with crunchy peanut butter. LOVED THIS.

GYM! I ran 3km in intervals in 30 mins!

Lunch: Protien smoothie with a banana and light A2 milk.

Dinner: Home made mini gluten free pizzas. Topped with baby spinach leaves, pineapple, light ham, no salt tomato paste, garlic, mushrooms, capsicum, a little salami, light cheese, cracked pepper, herbs and chilli. I love cooking.

Cravings....

Need to make a tea.

Morning! Feeling extremely tired due to multiple reasons including the fact that I haven't had my multivitamin for three days...It's amazing how much it makes a difference...

Breakfast: Big omelette with eggs, light cheese, spinach, sundried tomatoes, ham, salami, mushrooms, garlic. YUM.

Morning tea: Two Orgran crispibreads with peanut butter.

Lunch: Home made pumpkin soup.

Afternoon tea: Orange. One orgran crispibread with peanut butter.

Pre and post workout snack: Mini homemade pizza.

Lots of carbs...hmmm.

PT was hard tonight. :(

Yes I think we do need help with vitamins especially this time of year. I tend to alternate between Vit C, Multi and Iron.
Good eating day for you yesterday, it all sounds very tempting, well done. Omelet sounds great!

Hi I noticed that you need a wheat free diet and I thought you may like this recipe
Rice noodle cakes
By The AWW 'The Gluten-free Cookbook'
Ingredients
This recipe is gluten-free, wheat-free, yeast-free, dairy-free and nut-free.
• 200g rice vermicelli noodles
• 3 eggs, beaten lightly
• 1 medium carrot (120g),
• grated coarsely
• 1 medium zucchini (120g), grated coarsely
• ½ cup coarsely chopped
• fresh coriander
• 2 tablespoons gluten-free
• sweet chilli sauce
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation method
Place noodles in large heatproof bowl; cover with boiling water. Stand 5 minutes or until tender; drain. Cut noodles coarsely with scissors.

Combine noodles, egg, carrot, zucchini, coriander and sauce in large bowl.

Heat a little of the oil in large frying pan; cook ¼-cup mixture, flattening slightly with spatula, until browned both sides. Repeat with remaining oil and noodle mixture, cooking three or four cakes at a time.

Serve noodle cakes with extra sweet chilli sauce.

Sharrelle I bought some more multivitamins and I'm also starting to take magnesium too, which will hopefully help to reduce muscle cramping etc.

I love how beneficial vitamin C is...especially at this time of year.

Today was a long, difficult day and I feel down about how I ate and what I ate and I feel FAT today. UGH. :(

Breakfast: Omelette with eggs tomato spinach and mushrooms.

Weights training for 45mins. This was exhausting.

Morning tea: 3 Orgran crispibreads with peanut butter and two oranges.

Lunch: Home made pumpkin soup.

Afternoon tea: I had been feeling severly light headed, exhausted and I couldn't focus so I made a horrible judgement call and had one LARGE mocha and a triple choc bikki :(
I felt WORSE after it!! UGH. SO ANGRY AT MYSELF.

Dinner: Grilled blue grenadier with lemon, a corn cob and one small low GI potato with some melted light cheese.

I feel fat. Today is awful.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Lack of sleep is a real killer for the diet it can make or break you.
See I think an orange for breakfast is a good breakfast if you are time poor or are just not that hungry. It’s certainly better than nothing and then getting starving hungry by 10am and eating a heap of junk. I think you are doing terrific, keep up the good work.

Thanks for your support Rhonda- I really needed that.

Yeah lack of sleep is a big issue for me at the moment... I rarely get a 'restful' sleep or even 7 hours a night :( feeling quite stressed due to work and we are also house hunting at the moment and it's all a bit overwhelming.
