Yesterday was basic!
Breakfast: All my vitamins and a protein shake with a banana.
Morning tea: Peppermint tea
Dinner: Roast chicken and corn cob.
But TODAY is a WHOLE different story. Today was most definetly my 'no limits' reward day for all the healthy eating I have been doing for the last seven days.WARNING: SWEETS, CARBS, CAFFIENE AND ALCOHOL TO FOLLOW
Due to the fact that my lovely man and I haven't had a date in who knows HOW long, we decided today would be perfect, as I also recently got a new DSLR camera and also wanted to give that a gallop. So on went our 'adventure date'!
We had a lovely sleep in today so we got up lateish. For breakky I didn't really have much...I had a big glass of milo which was DELISH!
Lunch was at a LOVELY winery in near Healsville. We shared a pumpkin and parmesan risotto, kangaroo and mushroom stew, and a celeriac and truffle soup with beetroot jus. I had one glass of a yarra valley syrah, and the boy had an apple cider.
Dessert after lunch was hardcore. I had a gluten free chocolate cake slice which came with a fluffy strawberry cream whilst my boyfriend had a berry cheesecake. I also shared my boyfriends cuppacino. (No added sugar)
I took some beautiful photos at the winery as we were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow over the vinyards!
After this we went to Healsville Sanctuary and I took lots of photos of scenery and some super cute animals.
Going to make another soup for lunches this week; pumpkin, sweet potato, cauliflower, leek, zucchini, garlic and onion soup to be exact. YUM.
For dinner we are having blue grenadier with veg.
Today I felt no guilt for the 'bad' foods I ate, and in all honesty, I controlled my portions and I TOTALLY DESERVED IT.
But, I have a feeling my weightloss may NOT be that good at tomorrow mornings weigh in
OH WELL! I feel good and I am back on my healthy bandwagon as of right now. There's no point in working towards a 'better me' without rewarding myself every now and then.
