The sandwich plate idea is good practice.
I find sometimes it is hard to judge the scale on the photos. If you photo'ed a matchbox or a coin next to the plate it might help.
But it is good to SEE what a portion looks like.
It is one thing talking about having a healthy meal...and another thing seeing a healthy portion size of that meal.
Getting healthy portion sizes right is often the difference between success and failure.
