Early morning: Protein shake

Breakfast: Wheat bran, protein crunch, LSA w. soymilk, Banana

Morning tea: 1/2 HPLC bar

Lunch: Veggie bolognese creation (had to be eaten as a matter of urgency... fuzzy stuff had to be scraped off last night  )

Afternoon snacks: Peach, Almonds, Soy chocolate (10g piece - the last one, woohoo!!!)

Dinner: Soy sausages w. steamed veg (gonna be an early one today as I'm off for more torture at the Accent clinic straight after work - arrggh)

Late night snacks: TBA (decisions, decisions... only have a teeny amount of kJs left so depends if I want to go over it or not. I have about 2 glasses of wine left in a bottle that I opened about 2 weeks ago... to drink or not to drink??? If I don't drink it tonight it's going down the sink - that's gonna hurt!)

Breakfast: bircher muesli

Morning meal: 1/2 hplc protein bar (Sarah, I stand corrected...this was the nicest protein bar I have tried so I can see why you can eat them so easily) I was supposed to have a banana as well but I lost it! I have no idea where it got to. :?

Lunch: smoked salmon, l/f cottage cheese and salad on wholemeal bread. This was gooood.

Arvo Snack: 1 pc of chocolate brownie and on small slice of muesli cake thingy, fresh fruit (afternoon tea supplied by work as awards were given out to deserving staff...yours truly recd $100 gift voucher) :D

Dinner: spicy lentil, tofu and vege combo with f/f nat yoghurt

I think that when I'm in maintenance and I can afford some more kJ's I've got to try these HLPC/HPLC/Whatever protein bars!! Are they pricey??

And Kim, if bananas were still $16 per/kg I'd say someone stole your banana!! But seeing as they're $1.99 I sincerely doubt it! Wonder where that banana got to!? Hmmm!

LOL that banana will turn up somewhere all brown and stinky cause I forgot about it.

I keep protein bars usually for when I can't be bothered to prepare real food, so have it as a meal replacement but only every so often as I am usually pretty organised. Not sure about the price, I picked them up from Safeway so just put them in the basket  I keep meaning to make them myself as at least that way I would know exactly what goes in them and watch the fat content. I have a recipe but never tried it as it is from the US and not sure if we have all the same ingredients.

Yeah I don't have protein bars too often either because I love "real" food way too much :P :P But they're good to have on hand sometimes, especially if you're craving a chocolatey hit!
Don't you hate that, the US have so many weird ingredients that you just can't get here!!

Anywhoo, my food for the day...

Breakfast:
2 Weetbix with Stewed Plums

Lunch:
Pita Bread Pizza with Turkey, Cherry Tomato, Fresh Pineapple and Fetta Cheese
Diet Yoghurt, Diet Jelly and a Peach

Snack:
Carrot with L/F Tzatziki Dip

Dinner:
Beef Stew (diced lean beef with carrots, celery, potato and Weight Watchers gravy)
Garden Salad

Dessert:
Diet Yoghurt (frozen)
1 piece of Raisin Toast with 100% Peanuts Peanut Butter
