My daughter was given a George Foreman grill as an engagement present, she says it's fantastic, although she wishes it was one of the easy to wash ones that just clip out.

I ended up ordering a salad and a prawn and scallop kebab last night, thinking grilled is better than deep fried (which was all there was else. ) Cost me $4.70 for the salad and $6.50 for the kebab. i was SOOOOO cheesed off. ..here's why

They put my salad next to and UNDERNEATH my partner's seafood basket contents in the same styrofoam container so i had to eat it immediately and not wait for out friends otherwise it would have wilted and gone yucky. It was the worst salad I've ever paid over $2 for - mostly bitter lettuce varieties, 1 piece of tomato, 1 cucumber slice and a piece of onion. And THEN I saw them put my $6.50 prawn kebab (consisting of 3 prawns and 2 scallops) IN THE DEEP FRYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell deep fries prawns?

So not only was it a dismal dinner, I couldn't even eat something when I got back home because of all the disgusting oil. And to top it all off, because it took so bloody long to get out food (45 mins) we didn't have time to go mini golfing before it closed.

So not happy Jan
