week 3: 100kg
week 4: 98kg
week 5: 97kg
week 6: 95kg
Week 7: 95kg Again Evil or Very Mad
Week 8: 94kg
Week 9: 92kg
Week 10: 92kg - not a surprise, I'm just glad I didn't put on :roll:

Goal 90kg
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

2. went back to original thread and saw I put down for 20Kg. I think I was being a bit unreasonable but remember being pretty desperate and depressed about my weight at the time.

15Kg by the end of this month would suit me fine.

What exactly is this 12 week challenge? Do you just set a personal goal and see if you achieve it after 12 weeks? Could some one let me know? Thanks. Will there be anymore 12 week challenges?

Tabby cat,

The 12 week challenge started back in January and finishes at end of March. I see it as a motivational tool. Some people work better if they have a deadline, or an obtainable goal to meet.

Start of January we declared our starting weight and then decided on an achievable goal - how much weight we thought we could shift by the end of the 12 week period. We record our weight each week and let everyone see how we are going, you know whether it looks like we'll achieve our 12 week goal.

Next 12 week challenge should start at beginning of April. Well worth joining in, definitely recommend it.

Well done to all of you. You are an inspiration to me. After being away for a couple of weeks, I was very very naughty with the food, particularly the alcohol!!! I am almost back to my starting weight. So much for my goal of 65 at the end of 12 weeks!!! But we all learn from our mistakes. Anyway here is the lowdown week by week!!! :oops:
Starting weight at week 1 - 71kg
Week 2 - 71kg
week 3 - 71kg
week 4 - 71kg
week 5 -70kg
week 6 - 69.5kg
week 7 - 70kg.....bugger!!!
week 8 - 70kg
week 9 - 70.5kg
week 10 - 70.5kg!!! :x :x :x
But I am hoping with the treadmill and the pool should be ready on the weekend, that by the end of week 12 I might be under the 70kgs again. And by golly next challenge I will have a good go at getting to goal!
