six week challenge - join in now

Postby Nelly » Tue Jan 08, 2008 3:22 pm

I'm new to the forum and wanted to get a strong start. It seems other challenges are going on and I can't jump in mid stream so
Zojo has agreed to partner with me. anyone else is welcome.
Today - I didn't eat any chocolate (my weakness)
- I walked a mile on the treadmill
- drank water (which i'm not fond of) and measured my portions. I've never dieted before or exercized so please feel free to give me pointers.

anyone from Hillsong Church? Our pastor in Va beach is from Au - Steve Kelly...

Look forward to posting daily progess and weekly weight.
Thanks for your help!

Goody, goody gumdrops!
I'm so glad you guys and gals found me, this would not be fun to do alone.
It's so motivating seeing how each of you have lost weight.

SW 68.03kg
CW 67.13kg
GW 56kg

At the end of the six weeks, (2/16/08) I'd like to be at 62kg. So there it is.... in black and white.

For the last three days i've been on the treadmill, increasing 1 min each day, up to 22 min. And I bought a case of bottled water last night.

I'm contemplating putting a picture of my husbands ex wife on the treadmill, she recently lost weight and i can't have her looking better than me! But i wouldn't want my family members to see my jealousy :D
what are some creative work out ideas that have worked for you?

If nobody minds I will join in on this challenge

I currently weigh 90k
would be happy just to lose 2kg more would be fantastic

My challenge is to resist the jar of lollies sitting on my bench (the kids can eat them instead!) and to make a salad to have with dinner at least twice this week.

Heeheehee..I love the  about hanging up a pic of your Ex's partner's so that you can use it as a motivator  ahahaha..that's brilliant thinking :P

Unfortunately I can't steal your idea this time as my Dh doesn't have an "Ex" WoooHoooo I say...I'm the one only he's eva had..!! :P

I'll just have to hang up a pic of myself instead..---PRE-BABY  to get me motivated.

So far so good this week...well, kinda anyway.

I've exercised EVERYDAY this week..however, I'm still picking here and there at the Xmas nibblies that are in the fridge  :?

I'll also be weighing in on Monday mornings just so that you know. :D

mmwahhhhhh to you all..

Well, even though the last 48 hours haven't been as strong of a start that i wanted for this first week...i'll be shedding those kg's in no time. today is my birthday and my 17 yr daughter got me a card that said 'calories don't count'. so i spurged. guess this means i'll have to spend extra time on the treadmill this weekend. :?

My 18 yr daughter said she'll join in with my Aussie friends - so you'll get to meet her - Dawnby.

afraid to weigh today, will post weight on Sunday.
how's everyone else doing? share some tips on how to stay focused, how to persevere and not give into temptations...

Thanks for the support!
