Total - 7.1km

Goal for the week 52km.

I am going to try for a little more than last week's goal but I'm not going to go crazy with it cos now I am a working woman I don't have as much time!!!! And I am not getting up any earlier than 6 in the morning!

Ed's weekly walks

Tues: 10kms
Wed: 0kms
Thurs: 0kms (but did do a 1 hour weight training session)
Friday: 12kms

Goal for the week: 30kms

Keeping track of your walks really does help make it clear how many days you actually miss!

The weather in Melbourne isn't making walking outside much of a desirable option at the moment! Can't wait to get my treadmill back from the repair shop.

You are right Ed it does make you realise it when you miss a day!!! I even feel bad if I do less than 4km now :oops:

fri 7/4 - had loads to do b4 work as I have been made fundraising co-ordinator of the soccer club and they decided they wanted to do a firewood raffle Friday night at the pub!!! Meeting was Thursday night!!! So had to do stuff on the pc for that instead of treadmill before work. Didnt get home til 5 and then one of my partner's mates was here when I got home and didnt want to get on there in front of him.....a bit embarrassing!!!! So that is all my excuses for not doing any exercising yesterday. And I sat on my bum all day at work except for about 4 trips up the stairs!!!
sat 8/4 - 7.4km
sun 9/4

Total - 35.5km

Goal for the week 52km

HHMMM not looking good for the goal at all! I dont think I can do 17km tomorrow. I will aim to get back on the treadmill this arvo. OOOO maybe I can wear my pedometre this morning as I am walking the streets selling more raffle tickets for a bit! But I don't want to include that sort of thing in my log as I only want dedicated exercise to go in there, not incidental. So I will have to get back on my treadmill!!! Bugga!!!

Walk challenge week 3

Mon: 0kms
Tues: 10kms
Wed: 0kms
Thurs: 0kms (but did do a 1 hour weight training session)
Friday: 12kms
Saturday: 10kms (walk/jog)
Sunday: 0

Total for the week: 32kms (goal reached!)

Goal for the week: 30kms

Knowing that I wasn't going to be able to do any walking on Sunday, I was sitting around on Saturday wondering if I should go walking then (I didn't really feel like doing it and it was comfy and warm inside in front of the telly).

I thought of having to write down 0kms for Saturday and Sunday in this challenge and not being able to record that I'd reached my weeks goal, so I decided to go and had a great time. I was so glad I did it afterwards and now I can honestly say that I achieved my walking goal for this week.

I guess this is an example of how participating in these challenges can be motiviating and keep us all accountable.

Well done Ed. If you hadn't been in the challenge there is every chance you wouldn't have gone. And you met your goal for the week. Something that I don't know that I am going to make this week! :oops:

Sun - 11km (I tried and tried to make it to goal!!! I'll have to get back on the treadmill this evening if I am going to make it tho!)

Total - 46.5km

Goal - 52km

So I gotta go back on the treadmill and do another 5.5km. Ok I think I might be able to do that when I get back from soccer training this arvo! Gonna give it a go anyway!

Went back on in the afternoon and did 6km so my total for the week is a grand total of 52.5. Yay I made it to goal!
