6 week push up challenge

Postby Fiona25 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:44 am

Thought i'd set up a challenge for myself and anyone else who wants to join!

The challenge is to set a goal for how many push ups you want to do - they can be mens, ladies or even one handed push ups :D

My 6 week challenge is to be able to do 50 mens pushups in 1 go. Right now I can do 15 mens in one set. So that means I have to make an increase of 5 a week.

Start by listing what you can currently do and each week report what you can now do.

Whos in?!?

Me:

Starting # - 15
Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!

I'm a day early but I did push ups tonight (only for the 2nd time since I set the challenge since i've been sick). I wasn't expecting a big improvement from lack of exercise this week, but I was THRILLED with myself :D I also have a goal by the end of the 6 weeks which is to be able to do 1 handed push ups, even if I can only do 1 :!:

Starting # - 15
Week 1 - 20
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5
Week 6

So no one wants to join me??? I'm lonely in here

hey guys, would love to join in on this challenge.
I can currently do 40 men's push ups in one go, so aiming for 60. Would also like to be able to do 5 one handed push ups, can currently do 1-2.
