I DID IT!!!!

Woohoooo. I'm so proud of myself.
I thought it would be fine, but have been battling a bit of a quad strain that is very aggravated by my jogging, but I just kept on and got the end!
I've iced my quad and I'm all good.
I'm so happy - I never thought I would be a runner, but I really want to get to the end of this program!!

Thanks for the encouragment everyone!

Yeah I know what you mean but it is such an accomplishment everytime you finish a session. Look after your quad because you don't want to over do it & not be able to exercise at all. Have fun & keep posting your feedback.

Well I did a session this morning, untimed as per Bellas advise. I'm pretty sure it was 4kms but just enjoyed the run around the headland & took in the views then walked the rest of the way when the podcast finished. Boy was it nippy but worth every minute because I feel so good & very refreshed!

Thanks for the advice!
I'm icing the quad and planning my next session for Saturday if it feels ok. I'm not stressed about doing the 3 runs in a week, if I can only do two then so be it.
This is a lifetime thing and it doesn't matter if it takes me longer than 9 weeks.

Exactly!! I'm still on week 2 podcasts but have doing if since this thread started! I'm just enjoying running & will increase when I'm ready to.
