My name is HippyChick and I am a chocoholic.
I read some of the posts on the forum related to chocolate cravings. You ladies who can buy a bag of chocs and eat one every few weeks? Ha! Freeze a bag? Ha! The microwave would kill that one.
I am a not the worst of all offenders. I can go for a few days without it. But, if it's in my house, I have to eat it. I have to have it, even if I don't want anymore.
I feel like this is one of the things holding me back from my weight loss and it's been a weakness for too long. I want to unhook myself so I can enjoy it in moderation as an occasional treat, not a daily, even weekly food. I'm not really one for extremism in dieting because I feel like forbidding something will make you crave it more. Perhaps that will be the case here. However, I would like to do a little experiment and I would like to invite anyone who is willing, to join me!
The name of the game is - we have a competition to see who can hold of chocolate for the longest. You're allowed to have light chocolate drinks - Jarrah, or whatever, but only one or two a day. For me, it will be one. But all other chocolate stuff is out! That include cake, biscuits, etc. I know I will have chocolate soon enough but this could be a bit of fun!
So just write your name, and the days you have gone without chocolate - everyone has to start on 0 for the first post.
Copy and paste the list as people add to it and put it into your post. Every time you each chocolate you go back to zero! So this is an ongoing competition!
Just a little note from me first : Chocolate a little gift and I'll never give it up, and don't think we should Don't feel guilty if you eat a little choccy - have some and enjoy it and then move on with healthy eating. This is just s little fun, and a way I'd like to help myself, and others, lessen our reliance on chocolate.
