Rochelle's walking log 8th May to 14th May

Mon - 8th - 10.1km
Tues - 9th -

Total - 10.1km

Goal - 40km

KM to go - 29.9

had a good run yesterday but don't think I am likely to do anything today as I had my ovarian cyst burst last night and holy moly I was in agony all night! Took 3 lots of drugs all night so feel totally wiped out today. Still in a little bit of pain as well. Maybe this arvo I might be right for my short walk around the firebreak but I'm certainly not pushing it.

And anybody can join in. Just decide what your goal is for the week and try to make it. It makes you do maybe that extra few hundred metres when you are walking, or riding your bike. So Tegan you gotta set your goal way higher than the rest of us!!! I've asked my sister to by me a pedometre for my bike for my birthday, so fingers crossed she is cos it's my birthday on Saturday. Then I will get out and ride a bit as well. Maybe have 2 challenges going, one for walking for me and one for riding for me! I think the idea is that maybe you increase the kilometres each week but I battle to be able to do above 50. So I am pretty much at my limits. The reason for the smaller goal this week is because I am going away on Friday for the weekend and I know I probably won't go for a walk, but I am going to throw my runners in just in case.

Alright Rochelle I will join in at 40km. I know this will be a stretch for me but that is the point of a challenge. I mainly do my walking during the week in my lunch break and then usually one day during the weekend the other day I do something different.

Kim's walking log 8th May to 14th May

Tues - 9th - 5.6km
Wed - 10th -
Thurs - 11th -
Fri - 12th -
Sat - 13th -
Sun - 14th -

Total - 10.9km

Goal - 40km

KM to go - 29.1

Monday 8th - 20.6km
Tuesday 9th - 20.6km, subtotal 41.2km
Wednesday - 20.6km, subtotal 61.8km
Thursday - 20.1km, subtotal 82.4km
Friday - nothing, subtotal 82.4km
Saturday - walked around the market and did the shopping, say 1km subtotal 83.4km
Sunday - rode along the bike track - 24.2km, total for the week, 107.6km

35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

sorry OT

Do you all count walking as you normally would, eg, the daily walk to the trainstation etc, or """extra curricular" walking, eg, deliberate walks to exercise with your totals on here?
With my walking, I only count the deliberate weight loss walks I go for, I dont use a pedometre all day, and add that.
Hop this makes sense.

Basically, do you count your total daily walking, or only your deliberate exercise walks?

Hi Jodess.....I only count my deliberate exercise. Like when I am having an exercise session. I don't count incidental exercise. Be great if you can join us in our challenge. Tho ignore me this week as I have been sick this week and haven't gone nearly as far as I would like!

Well I definitely aren't going to make it. It's been a crap week this week with my health. Damn colds!!! I haven't had one for ages until now. So I am disappointed.

I usually only walk 6 days per week as I do Tae Bo in its place one day of the weekend so I knew this was a stretch. However, I am gonna keep that challenge till I meet it!
