12 Week Weightloss Challenge!!

This Tuesday, 5th August, I started my 12 week challenge. Does anyone want to join me? my goal is to lose 6-8kg in the 12 weeks. (i have a lot more than that to lose but that's my first goal!!
I started a Boot camp on Monday and I'm also doing research and learing about healthy eating. :D

I'm in :) I'm aiming for 6-12kgs... which will take me down to 66-72kgs :D We can do this!!!!

(Note to self: No more cake :(....)

So do you have any specific plans?

I'm going to aim for 2hrs on the treadmill tomorrow :)

I'm pumped. :D

I'm up for it! I'm aiming for between 5-8 kilos.
My plan: Lots of water, a lot less booze, 30 mins of exercise at least three times a week, and a few soup days to kick start my diet.
My major demons: Portion control, post-booze binge-ing, eating take-away and junk food from the supermarket/vending machine (not only bad for my body, really bad for my wallet!)

Hey girls,

I'm new to this forum and would love to join a challenge. I lost a heap of weight for my sisters wedding last year, but have steadily gained it back on and need some more motivation...6-12 kgs would get me a lot closer to my goal!

My plan is to run a lot, eat soup and salad and try to avoid binging on dessert - my greatest weakness

Yay! Yes, we can do this! :D
Well, I'm doing my Boot Camp three mornings a week, which is hard, but good! and also another 1 or 2 times a week doing something different with a friend, we're going to try and do different things all the time, like swimming, aerobics, this new hot yoga class we found etc etc. so hopefully it'll all pay off!!!
i weigh in tomorrow so i'll see what my first weeks results are...
let me know yours too, and your plans too! lets get pumped! woo hoo! :lol:

Ok I'm a week late (only joined the forum today) but I will be up for it. Over the next 11 weeks I will promise to lose up to 0.5 to 1 kg per week. After 11 weeks this should be bring my weight down from about 85-90kgs down to at least 73-78kgs. My ideal goal weight is about 60-65kgs which is what I was about 3 years ago.

My plan is a walk/run every night (and if possible one in the morning as well), restrict my portion sizes, and stop buying takeaways (Ilive by myself and my problem is I can't be bothered cooking a meal just for myself).

I can do it! I am the little engine who could!!!

Well, welcome everyone! i hope we can all reach our goals! if anyone has tops, ideas, suggestions etc post them! my biggest hurldle now is the food thing, not buying bad things for lunch and not eating too much! so i'm tackling that! the Biggest Loser cookbook is great, i love it, so that's really helping :D

G'day everybody, hope you are all well.

Well I have started my challenge fairly well. I went for a run/walk last night (I'll admit it was mostly walk, but that will improve) and had a nice vege dinner last night. I have sinned though as well, I had some pikelets for lunch today, but may I say only cause they were bought before I started my challenge and I didn't want to waste them by just throwing them out (yes I'm a bit of a waste not want not person).

So tonight is another run/walk (hopefully with a tad more running this time), then I am actually heading out to see a band so there will be some consumption of alcohol. We have a public holiday in Brisbane Wed, but it still won't be a big one tonight.

Ok so there has been some good and some evil over the last 24 hours. I have done a weight ticker thingo, but I need to buy some scales this weekend so I will display ticker once I can get an accurate weight happening.

Good luck to the rest of you, will check in again in 24 hours.

Arrgghhhh..... I just lost my whole post. :(

Well done Zoe, That's an amazing and inspiring effort. :) WELL DONE. I still have a few days until weigh in, but i'm hoping for a 1/1.5kg loss. I'm pumped. PUMPED. Pumped, pumped.

So this week i'm adding lunges, squats and sit ups to my routine... Anyone have any other good ideas?

some cardio? what are you doing in terms of diet/nutrition? I'm in such a good mood today because of that loss yay yay yay :D hope you get a good one too! :D

I do 1hr/ 1hr45m. generally 6min @6km/h (incline 6) 4min @10km/h (incline 0) On the treadmill (depending on my uni/work rostering) occasionally i do this with with weights. I could probably up it ever so slightly... But the more exercise i do the hungrier i get :P Nutrition wise I eat 3 meals a day B'fast is usuall coffee and a piece of fruit with diet jelly. Lunch depends on where i am if i'm at uni it's generally a yoghurt or a museli bar (:S hehe. Bad i know) or if i'm at home it's generally a salad sandwich or miso with 150g steamed vegetables Dinner is generally whatever everyone else is eating minus the carbs and a smaller portion. I think i have it covered nutrition wise. I'd just really like to know some good workouts i can do at home without equiptment. I have a treadmill and some light weights but that's all. Any suggestions. And lol. A good mood :P I can imagine that is an awesome number :D So happy for you myself.
