I know that we all have our own goals dates etc in mind, but do you think we can pick out a few of the major dates, like xmas, valentines day, easter, halloween etc that we can plan to have as common goal dates (I know our current one is xmas).
I ask this because then we can all pledge a goal for the date, such as xmas. Then I can track us all in an excel spreadsheet, because then I can tell each of us what our average loss needs to be over the entire period (from pledge date to goal date) and I can give a running average each week, i.e. this week I lost X, taking me to X which means in the X weeks left of this challenge I need to lose an average of X per week.
I have done this personally and it has really helped to put my personal challenes into perspective (i.e. are they even realistic from the start) but then also to help motivate me each week to reduce my weekly average.
It's just an idea, we could all make an official pledge using our weight as of this Saturday as our start, and the Saturday before xmas as our goal date (that leaves 8 weigh in weeks) - what do you say?
