Ok, so I posted this in another topic, but it was kinda on top of someone elses challenge, so I decided to move it to my own topic, just in case I'm the only one that wants to do it!!
I'm a bit of a nerd and I have set up a spreadsheet (as I am sure most of us have) that tracks my progress. I also have pages for my personal challenges. My challenge pages track my start and goal weights for that specific challenge, give me an average weight loss over the entire challenge period (so I know if my challenge is realistic from the start), and then when I enter my weight each week the sheet shows me what I need to lose over the remaining weeks in my challenge time to meet my goal. I find this really helps me keep everything in perspective and also motivates me to step it up it my average loss slacks off.
I am challenging myself to a xmas weightloss challenge. I am using my weight as of today, 25th Oct as my start - it's 136.4kg. I am going to weigh in every Sat for the next eight weeks, and by the last week (20th Dec) I aim to be 130kg. That's a loss of 0.8kg per week, or total loss of 6.4kg which I think is realistic for me personally.
Would anyone else like to join me? If you send me your starting weight for this week and your goal weight for the 20th Dec, then I'll put it in my spreadsheet as well, and each week I'll report in here everyones average loss and goals for next week to meet the challenge date.
To stay on track, I need to be down to at least 135.6kg!! I can do this!!
