WELCOME BACK STARR!!

And Congrats on only managing to gain 1/2kg during the whole holiday - well done!!

Also well done Juzzy, Kelvinator andwnd - you showed excellent control wnd - but tell hubby not to bring home mudcake!! that was very naughty of him.

jl, ewq and sl - dont feel bad about the weight gain. its happend to ALL of us, it is the BIG PICTURE in the end that counts. jl - you must find smthg that inspires you. ppl have heaps of advice but my main one is to find smthg that gets you excited, ie i really want to be fit for my kids and (vanity) want to look good in photos esp after recent baby, so THAT hugely inspired me. put photos up of a slimmer you, leave notes everywhere, do yr favourite ex whether its ice-skating or whatever, etc, etc, but the thing is to actully DO SOMETHING. Also, boring advice, but you will see that my motto is: "SLOW BUT STEADY WINS IN THE END"...and i do live by this.

ewq - don't worry about being back over 70kg. I agree with you that the cold will help you lose weight. Bc of my sinus surgery the other week and feeling so yukky and tired and sick for a whole WEEK and eating less consequently and having more soups - I have managed to lose another 1 kg and so am now down to 74kg~!~ I AM SO EXCITED, bc soon i will be near yr weight ewq soon - which inspires me even more - and closer to my ideal. It really has not been too hard, you just have to stick at it and really change yr eating habits.

wnd - i havent tried censored - is it a shake?? good luck with it.

Good luck to all, hope i havent been too bossy telling everyone what to do, but sometimes it does help, 'eh

oh and yeah, i am down to 74KG!! :D
ps attch is a photo taken 2 wks ago with my gorgeous little girl!

kg :)
ps have a safe trip back home starr

Awwww Kanga! Your little one is so sweet! Great pic by the way, your lookin' good!!

Weigh in day for me tomorrow. Just want to have a loss, any loss. I want to be under 100kgs so bad but have had a shocking week emotionally. I HATE EMOTIONAL EATING! Have been good today however. Could have done more exercise wise.... oh well doesnt matter. I will get there in the end!

Wow..thats awesome Juzzy! Way to Go!

KG - censored is not a shake..it is basically a high protein, low-fat, very low carb diet..similar to Atkins but a little bit healthier. One of the theories behind the diet is called the 'Zig Zag' effect or something of that nature...we get to have a cheat day once per week, then by getting straight back on track the nxt day, it is meant to kick-start the weight-loss again..so long as you still stick to having your protein snacks throughout your cheat day and only have two cheat meals, not 3.
I have to eat 6 times a day, 3 meals (all including protein, breakfast can contain a small amount of carbs, like oats, or a wholegrain piece of toast or a piece of fruit - not all..just one of those), and 3 protein snacks. The program says we must eat a source of protein with each meal, its a must! So, some mornings I have porridge...but I add two tablespoons of vanilla protein powder to it and make it with water, not milk...as lactose has alot of carbs. We are allowed milk in our cups of tea and coffee etc though.
We don't eat alot of dairy coz of the lactose(carb) content...but we can have low-fat cottage cheese etc.
I snack on things like home made protein bars or tins of tuna etc..or some lean meat of some sort.
Its fun and I love it, its working so thats the main thing.

Weighed in today...300g loss! It's a small loss, but it's still a loss, so i'm not complaining.

Hope everyone else did well this week. If not, don't give up, theres always next week!

I'm still hovering over 70kg. I'll be buying some running shoes this week. Hopefully the extra exercise will make a difference!

hi girls,

i am still at 74kg, happy considering no exercise, but still recoverng from sinus op, as it makes you VERY TIRED for a few weeks so its hard to get going - and i think i'm coming down with a bit of a cold.

anways, congrats wnd on 300g loss - and good work mouse and ewq for maintaining (like me) .

have a great week everyone, and lets try and be good.

kg

A small loss of 200grams this week. A loss is a loss and it's in the right direction so I am happy. I have been allowing some treats lately such as ice-cream on Sat night so we will see if that makes a difference.
