6 Weeks for 6kgs!

Postby BondGirl » Mon Apr 13, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi all,

It's been ages since i've posted on here. I'll introduce myself again considering I'm still a newbie :D .

I'm starting up a new challenge thread to help keep me motivated in the challenge/bet I have made with my PT. We both choose the end of May many weeks ago as my time frame to reach my goal weight.

In order for me to achieve this I have to lose 1kg in 6 weeks.

In the next six weeks i am going to work very hard at the gym and join calorie king and start counting calories. By eating the right balanced foods and exercising i should be able to achieve or be close to hitting the 58kg mark.

Anyone who wants to join me on this 6weeks26kg challenge in welcome.

I don't have a lot of free time but i will try and pop in more often than i have been. This is a very motivating forum.

i will weigh myself in the morning and then get to it! i also plan to hit the gym and i use calorie king too so will keep track of all that stuff.
we're pretty much on par with this so should be a great motivator!

Hello there,

I'm in, I really need some motivation, so i'm going to aim for an hour activity every day. I've also joined Calorie king today. My goal is 56kg, but even if I get close I will be very happy.

Currently around the 62kg mark, I haven't been under 60kgs in a little while so I will be extra happy when I crack that mark. At the moment i'm also thinking of rewards for hitting each kg of weight loss, are you guys going to be doing something similar to reward yourselves?

Good luck! :D

Best of luck for your challenge Bondi Girl. I'm doing a ten week challenge hoping to lose 4kg, so 6kg in 6 weeks is a bit of stretch for me. Hope you get there, though :D That will be very motivating for me :)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Hello Chloe08080! Well Done! :D

How did you do it?!

I found calorieking to be a real help.

I did my weigh in and i'm now 60.1kg, Came so close to hitting the 50's but that's okay as there is still 5 weeks to go!
So I lost 1.9 kgs in my first week, most likely water also but I really want to get into the 50's so that's my motivation for the week ahead.

Good luck for the week ahead! :D

Well done bondgirl!

Well I weighed in last night and ive now hit the 50's! Havnt really been doing too much exercising as ive been doing alot of other physical work which has been tiring me out. So this week I plan on getting back on the wagon and doing my hour a day walking.

So far -

Start weight - 62kg
20.04.09 - 60.1kg
27.04.09 - 59.5kg :D

Skilee your in the 50's - great going!

Can't wait till I'm seeing the 50's. Just 4 more kilo's and I too can say hello 50's.

I got weighed and measured by my trainer today. My measurements have gone down heaps, not so much in weight. In 8 weeks i've lost 2.7kgs an ave of 300gs but have gained lots of muscle so looking better. Not trying to go by the scale as much and rely on my clothes as a guide. My goal is to fit size 8

Well it sounds as though your doing a great job! It feels motivating when you see results doesnt it?

I also want to fit into a size 8 and tone up. I guess its not just about losing the kgs is it? The kgs dont really mean much unless you can feel the results in your clothes. Which is one of the main reasons you want to lose weight in the first place!

What kind of exercises do you do at the gym?

Good luck for the week ahead! :D
