Stupid but important Challenge

Help me people!!!

I weigh in 5 times a day!!!

I get angry at myself and my body!!!

How can I make myself wait until every Friday to weigh in???

SO, its now my challenge.

I am not going to weigh in until Friday!!!

Hide the scales or get someone else to hide them for you. Maybe put them on top of a high cupboard so that you need a ladder to get the scales down. It should stop you from instinctively weighing yourself every time you go into the bathroom.

Either that or punish yourself every time you use the scales. Maybe say to yourself that if you weigh yourself on an in-between day you're not allowed to brush your hair the following day before work. Most people are vain enough that this can work!

Lol, i think the "not brushing my hair" trick may work cuz i love to comb my hair every now and then...lolzzz

I don't think its a stupid challenge, weightloss is all about changing bad habits. Are they electric scales? If so maybe rip the batteries out until friday then on those off days when you do jump on the scales and see they aren't working it will remind you that you shouldn't be on them.

yeah good idea julz. I weigh in every day but never get angry, just use it as incentive! 5 times a day is abit awkward though :P

my scales broke so I can't weigh in at all now, I have to judge by my clothes. It's sooo liberating!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, just wanted to add that I don't have a set of scales, I go the the district health nurse once a week and use the scales there. This works for me cos I wouldn't want to be turning up there every day of the week and have the nurse think I am nuts.

Hehe Funstopper, I have a really really good weighing machine at the gym but the gym charges a few dollars for weighing in on that machine. I weigh in there once a month or so..... this helps and i use a "kind of good" digital scales at my home ... :)
