Time for another fitness challenge guys!!!

Right I just re-read Clairs 5 days to fitness challenge and thought it sounded a good idea. Mind you wasnt prepared for the posts towards the end with the bit about my dad. Has bought back the flood of tears yet again! :cry: Bugger it all!

So I am thinking maybe we ought to do some sort of challenge that we can all join in on. No gym stuff because not all of us have access to a gym. I was sort of thinking maybe making it a 14 day plan or something. If we can all try to do 30 or 40 mins or so of cardio and maybe 15 minutes of toning exercise. Anyway if anybody has some ideas please post and maybe we can get something underway for Monday or even Sunday. I'm game if anybody else is!!!

I'd like to have a go to. I havent done any exercise for years, so would love some tips. I just went and bought a speed ball. I read that it helps tone the flabby arm bits. I have borrowed a treadmill also. But it is collecting dust. I also have some weights and a stepper. They all look very impressive. But not used.

Well that is good that we can get a few of us together. Now we need to decide what to do and when to start! I'm thinking that we should do walking. What do you guys think??? I like to ride the bike as well but don't know if you guys do!!! Maybe we should do it that you log in that you have done how ever many minutes of cardio, whether it be walking, cycling, aerobics or whatever. But you have to be puffing!!!! So maybe the fist week can be something like 25 mins. And maybe 3 days a week, Mon, Wed, Fri, to do weights. Just use the tins out of the cupboard if you don't have any hand weights. And do some toning leg exercises, along with some squats. Damn I hate squats but I will force myself to do them!

So if we were to start today mine would be :
Sun - 6 Aug - 25 mins bike. Cant go for a walk cos it is raining so I will pay for it tomorrow.

So what do you think about that. But we could start tomorrow or Wednesday or next Sunday if you want. Or maybe make Sundays a rest day, or Saturdays if everybody is busy doing something else. Anyway post your ideas.

Monday 7th
My challange for today is to:- do a toning workout on the fit ball
Tuesday 8th
My challange for today is to:- go for a walk before work.

Will jump in tomorrow and let you know how it goes, along with challanges for the next couple of days....
