Ishi vs Freddy

Postby Freddy » Thu Aug 20, 2009 6:04 am

Yes, it's a battle. A few of you may have read our posts, pushing each other towards a weightloss race.
So, here it is.
It's our race.

Here are the stats as from this moment:

Ishi
Current weight: 80
Goal weight: 69

Freddy
Current weight: 88
Goal weight: 77

As you can see I've set my weight goal a bit down, to get an even start with Ishi. If I wouldn't have lowered it, I'd have an advantage already.

So Ishi, bring it on!!

Lol @ "Ishi" but i guess its me.

Anyways, I am all pumped up for this thing man. Lets see who is, as you put it, "the rotten egg".

Oh and btw, whoever loses the race cannot put forward any excuses. A loser is a loser and The Winner will be the winner.

May the best man win.

And last but not least,

Bring it on kiddo!

Very nice!

I didnt ride to work today as a weather alarm had been forecasted. Turned out to be nothing interesting, so I could have gotten my bike out of the shed anyway. Bummer...

I'll see your 75 crunches and raise them with... A whatever, I'll do 75 crunches :)

Back on the bike tomorrow :D 2x55 minutes, so I guess that beats your 41 minutes on the X-trainer, right?

Take Sue on in a challenge, she's about as close to her goal as you are I guess ;)

I shifted my goal specially for Ishi, just to be able to give him an asswhooping ;)

Didn't do any situp last night. Had to work yesterday and already rode 50km on my bike that day. Just couldn't be bothered. The tailbone is slightly better now, but I'm putting on some calendula creme twice a day to help heal my skin a bit. Turns out I scraped the skin over my tailbone a bit, which is the biggest reason it's hurting. Tonight I'll be doing some more situps. Pretty excited to see what my weight will be tomorrow morning. The way it's been going for the past weeks, I wouldn't be surprised if I actually gained weight instead of lost weight.

I've read that it is possible, but it's a long term project. But still, you have to cut your weight loss/muscle gaining up in phases. That basically sucks as you have to do the exact opposite for gaining muscles, as you have to do to lose fat.

Basically, my idea is to bulk up muscles around the belly. Where there are more muscles, more fat will be burnt. So I'm trying to achieve the fat loss by gaining muscles. It's not going to be easy, as I'm not resorting to muscle stimulants. I'll be eating my regular diet, as strict as possible.
