Hi! Sorry I've been totally slack

Thanks Sue and HG for checking up on me

HG - I think it's great that you've taken on board my advice, and I wish you the best of luck for quitting smoking. Its hard, but totally worth it

I'm going to the Britney concert in Melbourne on Friday the 13th of November

Lol. I get constant teasing too... I don't know why...
I'm still free of smoking

4 weeks now! Yay! When I first started, my patches were 15mg, and at the beginning of this week I changed down to 10mg and I barely noticed. I'm using the help of a site called TheQuitCoach, which is like a site that you go to and answer a whole bunch of questions, and they give you advice on how you're doing in your quitting. They've also got a whole bunch of information sheets that help you to learn how to cope and stuff. Pretty cool.
Weight loss wise, I'm kinda just bouncing around... I'm not really focused on losing weight at the moment, just being healthy and tracking my food. I have exams starting next week, that go for 3 weeks, so that's kinda more at the forefront of my mind more than anything

I have a goal to be at 117.7kg by the end of November though - that is my 10kg mark

That's about 4kg or so from where I am now. It would be really nice to get down there! I have 13 weeks until my birthday (well the week before my birthday), so obviously I'm not going to get down to below 100kg - or even really near it. Hopefully below 110kg though! I think the most important thing is that I don't give up. None of my friends and family are going to stop loving me because I'm overweight, and they can all see that I'm doing something about that. There is one friend that hasn't seen me since I was about 85/90kg, so obviously she's going to think that I've put on weight, but meh. I'm still going to have at my birthday party, and on my birthday!
Hey, random question, but does anyone know what 'protective clothing' means when you're riding a motorised scooter? Does it mean leathers, or can I just wear jeans and a long sleeved shirt?
