Fi's Christmas Goal!!

Postby fi_112 » Tue Nov 24, 2009 11:47 am

Hi guys!!!!

Well lately (as some of you know) I have been judging my weight by my jeans, this was because the scales just kept going up and down and all over the place... they'd be 72kg then 69kg and back again and I started to stress about it! Anyway, they peaked at 72.8 kg but over the last few weeks I have managed to get them down to 70.5kg, slowly and steadily. Because they have been a bit more stable (I think my body got used to full on weights training) I have decided to set myself a CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE!

Start weight: 70.5kg (BMI=22.5)
Goal weight: 68.5 kg (BMI=21.9)
Start BF %: 24.5%
Goal BF %: 22.5%
My best friend is doing it as well, she wants to lose 3kg.

I haven't had an Ipod lately so today I am going to go and invest in an MP3 player as an 'investment' into my challenge (even though I can't afford it hehe :))

Any tips or if anyone wants to join, don't hesitate! I AM SO EXCITED!

Arghhh, that time of the month this week so not going to weigh in.
I'm getting fed up and feeling a bit crap today. I guess I'm just over the whole thing. I'm tired of thinking about what I eat, exercise, etc etc. I think maybe I need more balance but I can't help focussing on it :(

TTOTM always makes me feel crappy about everything! I'm sure you'll feel better once it's over - the same thing happened to me just last week.

:) :) :) Feel better!

Thanks Czarina! I did half an hour cardio yesterday and then played netball, feeling better today. Did a half hour dancing/aerobics this morn and going to walk the dog before work tonight. Just mixing it up and trying to enjoy myself. I have realised I think I seek approval from others rather than myself which is why I get down sometimes so this is something I need to think about and work on.

Btw - you have lost so much weight, I read your thread and it looks like you still let yourself have treats now and then and have still had such success! well done! Do you have pics somewhere on the forum?

Thanks! I do allow treats...a few too many, sometimes!

I don't have photos on the forum, as I don't actually have any photos of me at my highest weight, I had one (which was the catalyst for the weight loss!), but the memory card I had it on has gone blank! I think some of OH's family might have some from Christmas a couple of years ago - I really should hunt some up, I think I need to see the loss in black and white, so to speak.

Sometimes I still feel obese and find it hard to believe that I have lost 45kg, but then I slip into a size 10 dress - and boy, does that feel good!

Czarina - OOOH I want pics ASAP please :) Yeah I know, fitting into a size 10 (and even 8s on the odd occassion :)) is such an amazing feeling.

Well I'm still on 70.2 kg. By now I should be on around 69.7 to keep up with the X-mas goal but I'm not too worried. Just trying to mix it up as much as I can.

I feel like 70kg is a WALL for me, that is very difficult to get below. I have only ever (in the last 6 years) gone below 69-70kg when I've been skipping meals and almost starving myself, but I'm wondering if it's a psychological or a physical thing? Other people seem able to get their BMI below 22 so there isn't any reason why I shouldn't? Any thoughts??

Got a very busy weekend on but going to do the best I can :)

I dare say I shall be getting some photos next week, at OH's brother's wedding...

I'm thinking that getting below 70kg may be a physical thing for you, as you look smokin' right now! I don't think I'll ever have a gorgeous tummy like yours, I really don't think you need to lose any more. :D

Thank you!! I do think I look lighter than 70kg but there you go. Maybe a combination of being tall, having muscles and liking my treats :) haha

Well Czarina I'm JEALOUS of those numbers you pull on the scales! So I guess we're just typical females being jealous of one another! haha.

Weighed in at 69.9 this morning!!! Yay! But I think I might be a bit dehydrated, I went to a hens day yesterday, but I did get up and drink over a litre of water during the night. SOO hopefully it's a truthful reflection. I'm going to work so hard this week to keep the 6 in my number!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend xxx

Body hurts!!! Haven't had a rest day in 8 days, because I'm trying to change my routine. Think I'll go swimming laps today, nice and easy on the muscles! Happy with how I'm going so far... hopefully will be able to finish the jeans goal as well xx
