2010 New Years Resolution Challenge

ok the rules of this challenge are simple. there are no rules!! hehe
this challenge is open to anyone of any weight and any gender.
it will continue for the whole year.
it can be regarding weight loss, quitting smoking, developing better eating habits, learning to run, etc.

you list your profile name
your goal for 2010
your current status
a little bit about what you are trying to acheive

and you all must support each other. like you already do.

the challenge begins Jan 1 2010, but feel free to start early if you like.

seeing as i created this challenge i may aswell go first.

to reach 56kg
to maintain a healthy eating and exercise routine
im 63.2kg (as of 18 Dec 09) im starting to get into the routine of eating well and exercising. been going well for two weeks.

i will update my weight on Jan 1 2010 and that will be my starting weight.

Profile name : Gutsy
Goals for next year to get to my target weight, not sure exactly what that will be, guess around 63 kg. I also want to run a 10 kilo race at least twice a month and my big goal for the year will be to run one 21 kilo race at around the end of 2010, there after I will go back to doing 10 kilo races, I just want to do one 21 kilo to prove to myself that I can.

I am currently sitting at about 68 kg and have not run any 10 kilos races since August, so I will have lots of work to do in 2010.

My name is Carley *shakes hand*
My weight goals for 2010 are;
72 kilos: my oldest daughters pre-pregnancy weight. I have NEVER been at her pre pregnancy weight, a huge deal for me.
69 kilos: It's been forever since I have been in the 69's!!!
66 kilos: My WW goal weight.

Once I hit 66 kilos it is kilo by kilo!

I'm hoping to get to 72 kilos by the end of January, 69 kilos end of February and 66 kilos the end of March. :) If it takes me to end of April, I will be happy with that.
Goal for 2016:
Current weight: 94 kilos
Starting weight: 102.5 kilos
Goal #1: 92 kilos

Goal for 2010: I really need to drop some kgs and body fat before starting to have kids. I'll like to be under 60kgs, ideally 55-58kgs.

Current status: Currently fluctuating between 70-72kgs

I'm really going to work hard at this, my exercise and eating are good, i just had surgery to remove a large ovarian cyst, so no excuses! The thing thats really gonna motivate me is the fact that i almost weigh as much as hubby, which is just wrong :lol:
Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

I'm Fi.
My NY resolutions are to eat more slowly and savour my food, same with life really.
I am currently 69.5 kg, wouldn't mind being 67-68 as a final weight. I also aim to do another triathlon and perhaps start dancing of some sort.

goals- * to lose 10kgs- final goal weight 65kgs. allowing 6 months to achieve this.
*to get to the gym 4 times a week for one hour per session
* to always drink 2l water daily
*to be grateful for all the really good things in my life
*to get into some tertiary study...20 years after finishing school
got a feeling 2010 is going to be great for everyone here! :)

1) To reach ultimate goal weight - 56kgs
2) To cherish and enjoy healthy eating and exercise

Take up bodyboarding and surfing as hobbies
Be able to run
Be able to climb Mt Lofty from Waterfall Gully
etc.

Hey people!!

I'm Ali (ali76) :P
My goal is to get back down to my 'bootcamp' weight of 68 kilos - perhaps even getting to 66.
I made it, then after getting married and taking it easy, I'm hovering around 74-75 (74.2 as of this morning).
I want to lose this weight so I have the best chance of falling pregnant (for any FB friends, please keep this to yourself!).
To do this, my goals are:
- to drink 2L of water a day
- work out 4 times a week (can incorporate netball, gym, pt, walking, riding, etc)
- eat what fuels my body and makes both min and body healthy!
- to learn how to say NO to food!

Hi, I'm sunshinebub.

My goals for 2010 are:-

* stop drinking alcohol. I have started this last Sun 27th Dec, I think alcohol has been holding my weight loss back, as I eat healthily and exercise but alcohol undermines all my hard work. So I have quit, cold turkey and I think I will find it a challenge but I am determined.

* I want to weigh around 62 or 63 kilos by May next year. I did this two years ago and lost it all in 7 months. Then of course I put it all back on again because we moved out of town and I couldn't get to the gym.

* I am going to eat healthy and exercise and be empowered as I was before.

* I will weigh myself on Jan 1 and report back. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
