Here we go! I have never reached my goal. I always drop 20 or 30 kilos and then give up and regain.

I FFS hereby declare that i WILL NOT give up this time! Failure is not an option.
I will not give up hope and let myself regain everything i have worked to lose.

I will not self sabotage
I will not let a gain get the better of me
I will not be sad about small 100gram losses

When i fall off the wagon, i will get straight back on - No more of that "I'll restart after the weekend" type of thing
I will not consume excess food if / when i am intoxicated
I will not starve myself to lose this weight

I will exercise
I will drink my water
I will eat my vegetables

I will change my life! Yipeeeeeeee

Hey YR

How are you doing today? I'm going ok, i discovered this thing called a "Chocolate Rainbow" bubble bar. It's like a rice bubbles thing. I got them from Aldis. I think i will be having them when i need a hit of something chocolate and sweet. There's 6 in the box and the stats are:

One 20g bar =
81 cals
0.5g protein
2.1g fat
14.1g carbs
0.3g fibre
51mg sodium

I haven't been counting calories or anything with my diet. I think that bar will be ok to have sometimes? What do you think?

Hey FFS,

I'm going well today! My back is still killing me though :-(

That bar would be really good to eat! I don't really worry about anything except calories for now, keeping it simple. I usually have a hot chocolate for a chocolate hit for about 80 calories as well. It's especially good at around 'that time of the month' when I want chocolate like 50 times a day :p

Anyway, I have to go. I'm exhausted now!!

I hope you're going well hun, just message me if you have any worries :)

Hi YR

Sorry to hear about your back :( I hope you feel better soon! Yum a cup of hot chocolate would make a nice treat on a freezing cold day when i need a chocolate hit!

Today i had my lunch for breakfast, i like to change things around a bit because i don't want to get sooo bored that i give up. I had a panini bread roll - it's like the size of half a subway and it's the same shape - maybe wider. I get them from coles in the fresh baked section, 2 in a packet for a couple of dollars. It doesn't say the calories but i assume it is rather high, so i don't have them too often. I cut it in half long ways, toast in the toaster (I have to toast one end at a time because it's long)... then i add smashed up avocado to either side instead of marg, tomato, olives, sprouts, cottage cheese... or whatever i feel like. It's soooo filling and i feel like i have just eaten subway.

It helps me to get that full satisfied feeling from time to time. I really enjoy my home made subway! lol

Now for lunch i will be having a shake. Blueberries or a banana in skim milk, in the blender, with some vanilla essence.

I try to eat my largest meal at either breakfast or lunch.

For dinner i might have a pumpkin soup if i can manage to cook it myself.

YR you weigh in tomorrow don't you? Are you getting excited or scared? lol.

Hey FFS,

I've found Jarrah's choc-o-laite to be the lowest in calories and yet still tasty :-) I also add splenda to make it just that bit sweeter!

I think it's really good that you mix things up - you know that if you don't that you will get bored and that's positive that you're dedicated enough this time to learn from your past. Some people never do learn and just go round and round in circles doing the same thing, but never learning! You're breakfast and lunch sound YUM! I think it's cool that for now you're not counting calories. I reckon do what works for you! Once you begin to plateau a little bit, I suggest taking a look at www.calorieking.com.au so that you can just see how many calories things are. I do know people that lost fair amounts of weight without ever tracking their calories, they just made healthier choices, halved their meal sizes (over time of course), and started to exercise, and they've managed to keep most of the weight off. They did gain back about 10kg, but the person also went from jogging 2 hours a day to walking for about an hour just because of a lifestyle change.

My weigh in is tomorrow and yes, I'm a little nervous but mostly excited! I know that I've done everything in my power to lose this week, so whatever I lose is whatever I lose - I know I've tried, and doesn't matter what the number on the scale says, I will keep on trying!!

Off to bed soon, and still have a blog to write!

Lisa.

Hi YR

I am scared for Tuesdays weigh in! I had wine on the weekend. I'm not sure how the scales are going to go. I'm going to try and eat light meals on Monday to see if i can undo a bit of the damage.

So i've set myself another challenge to try and go without alcohol for a couple of months.

I worked really hard this week, did some exercise every day - even though it was only a small amount, it's all i can handle. I'm wayyyy out of shape. Now i have gone and ruined it all with the alcohol. Bugger
